I saw the score backwards. Bruins were up 3-0 and lost to the Rangers?

Red Wings 46-23-10 - 102
Sharks 46-23- 9 - 101

Sharks were fast. So were the Kings.

I still think the Red Wings will be out in the first round. How many I don't know. 4-1?

Technically not yet-if they win their last three and Sabres lose their last three in regulation time....hey, it could happen.

Well, like I said earlier, I'm excited that they seem to have finally turned the corner: lots of cap space for free agents this summer (Brad Richards please!), second youngest team in the league and they found a starting goalie of worth in James Reimer. If you had told me at the all-star break they'd go 18-7-5 (or whatever it was) and still be fighting for a playoff spot in the last week I wouldn't have believed you. So, good effort, blue, looking forward to next year. And Sicilian, I'll have to console myself for now with fond memories of that Olympic Gold. Yeah, that cheers me up (smiley face sticking tongue out).

Don't forget Dominic Hasek was with the Sabres when he won the gold w the Checks. the Sabres have always have had great goalies. From Roger Crozier Tom Barrasso Don Edwards to Bob Sauve and Darren Puppa. The list goes on and on.

Dave Dryden. Remember how he used to pace from side to side on the rink during play stoppages in the other end of the rink.

Sharks may think they are elite but the Sabres swept them this season in both rinks quite easily. tongue sticking out smiley

Yeah, kind of stretching the definition of a great goalie there with Puppa and Sauve aren't you? Not even sure I'd give you Barrasso.

It's become quite an annoyance that the TV heads on Versus say "the 'Canes" instead of "the Hurricanes" when talking about Carolina.

Who was that that played in Carolina anyway? They were in red but sure didn't fly for shit.

SJ gave one away to the Ducks. I don't care what the TV heads say about this one either - Chicago is in, Calgary is out (Dallas was eliminated last night).

What's up with the Capitals taking over 1st in the East? Wow. They'll still find a way to lose in the second round as usual...

Second round? Your being quite generous. We are expecting a quick first round thumping for the Capitals.
