It's still too close to call who will get 7th and 8th place in the East. Toronto still has a chance. Everyone below Toronto is done.

Somehow Detroit is pulling away from San Jose. The West is starting to open up a bit. Vancouver has 1st in the West and overall locked up. Watch them bow out in the first round.

It would be great if they didn't. It would truly be cool to see Vancouver win a Cup. Way better than Shitadelphia, who will NOT win the Cup.

How is Detroit pulling away from San Jose? They're 3 points ahead and have lost 2 in a row. The Sharks have won 3 in a row.I would'nt call that pulling away.

Ha ha! You're right!

Somehow Detroit is now 3 points ahead though. It doesn't matter - Detroit won't make it past the 1st round. Babcock won't play Ozzie and Howard goes down like a whore - like a majority of the NHL goalies.

Sharkies are looking good. AS long as they don't have to play Chicago in the first round I feel good about them.

As of yesterday's games (March 28th) the East is starting to look set as far as who will be in the top 8.

In the West it's still a little bit closer but not much. Calgary is hanging on in 9th and Chicago is in 8th with Dallas right behind.

He had a great game sitting out. Especially after that first goal in Toronto, he needed an excuse to sit.

It's all hush hush with Miller's injury. So far nobodys talking. Speculation about being hit in the collar bone, Ruff said "that's part of it".

Canuck playoff tickets went on sale. My brother's company has four season tickets in the club seats, behind the penalty boxes around 14 rows up. First round tickets cost $550 each!! $2200 a game. Bet Canucks ownership hopes each series goes a full 7 games! Playoffs are where the teams make their money.

Toronto makes all of their money during the regular season. That's why they don't need to make the playoffs. Ouch!

It would be fitting of SJ played the Ducks.

Looks like the East is pretty much determined unless the Rangers lose every game and the Hurricanes win every game.

Calgary is out, they just won't say it yet.

Hey, the Leafs still have a chance in the East too if they run the table and the Rangers lose three out of four. Not likely, I know, but just sayin'. Just wish they'd had Reimer in net all season but I'm cautiously optimistic about next year. Now if the Canucks win the Cup I'll have to fall on my sword, though.

The Loafs are 5 points behind the 8th placed Rangers with THREE games left. The Rangers are beating the Bruins 3-2 at this moment of typing. As much as I'd love to see the Leafs make it in, they're not going to. Carolina is in a possibly better position to get in - but only if the Rangers screw up.
