I like the CD a lot - can't wait to hear it live. It confirms the idea I had about Slide On This - it is really good for Ronnie to work with Bernard.

I received my cd yesterday. Really 5 stars.
5 stars, really? So its in the same league as Blonde on Blonde, Sgt. Pepper and Who's Next. Certainly good to know! How about some perspective?
It´s a really good album, Tele. Certainly 5 stars.

If you are grading on a very steep curve with only other Ron Wood albums to compare against it might be 5 stars. Certainly not Michelin stars.

Hats off to Ron for the singing and playing, but I'm not sure how strong the SONGS are yet. Has to steep a while before we can judge that. Certainly a good album by any stretch, but not sure yet if it's even Ron's best. Must admit, I wasn't sure he had an album this good left in him... On criticism: songs seem to run a little long.

Still think his best was his first. It has aged very well.

I always loved the 1st as well. Especially Take A Look At The Guy & Sure The One You Need ... and I can't forget I Can Feel The Fire ... and I'm Groovin' You (which I think is a cover but still a great riff & vocals!).

Far East Man too, even though it sounds like Ron's and George's vocals were recorded on separate continents. Taylor is all over the album. This album is something Taylorites and Woodites can agree on.

Oddly I never liked the Far East Man track too much, and then I got the Far East Man dvd and only after that did I become hooked on it! Yes, I love that one too.

well, you can hook the computer to the receiver....you can also burn discs and make believe they are legal discs. there's lots of workarounds to actually going out there and giving these artists the money they're entitled to you if you are serious about it.
