I don't like it. It removes the entire element of the song.

These storms... all this hype, people saying such stupid shit like they'll join forces, a bunch of bunk and... neither one are going to have any huge impact. Which is great, actually, but it's been blown way out of proportion too far ahead of time. In fact, I'll be surprised if Laura actually survives, if she indeed goes over every island on her way to the GOM.

Turned on the radio, they played Scarlet. Sounded good. Switched it off. Turned it on an hour later - they played Criss-Cross.
This is strange. Stones is a rarity on both ps radio and, even more, commercial radio.

I've heard Scarlet quite a few times on the radio. Ghost Town, too.

The song is on BBC Radio 2 playlist, it debuted at #60 on UK's Airplay chart.

In the US the song is taking off on Adult Alternative (Triple A), currently has 124 spins this week, #36 on the chart.

Scarlet with Mescal is stunning....can't get enough....War On Drugs is terrible....sorry...hate it....can't handle it.

The more I listen to Scarlet the more I like it, the two normal versions anyway. It's good.

Hi, aha! great thanks for posting this. But... no it wasn't (it didnt have that simple chuggy extra riff thats going down the middle - played on one string that your link has) i think both your link and the vid link are brilliant

Scarlet is really good. The tentative but sharp guitar riffs that starts it up, the bass that comes in and a nice chorus. What more can you ask for?

I kinda like how they are putting out all of these different versions of Scarlet.

A bit reminiscent of when Dylan had a bunch of artists finish "The Lost Notebooks of Hank Williams", various artists putting music to lyrics left behind.
Not quite that.. but an interesting concept for the song long ago left unfinished.

Still waiting for what will be the ultimate version though..
