Ok, it's easy to bash them from a musical perspective (and I'll rarely pass up the opportunity), but if any artist is paying tribute to the Stones by covering their music and giving it a wider audience, thats never really a bad thing.
Credit to them for doing that, at least.
I saw them open for the Stones in Paris in 1995. It was a truly horrible experience, and 75 minutes of my life that I'll never get back, but it was quite obvious from their onstage comments that they love the Stones and were honoured to be their opening act (even though they were on a tour where in some countries they were actually outdrawing the Stones)

If an artist pays tribute to another one it´s great.
If an artist is taking another artist´s music (or whatever) to celebrate himself
it´s fogettable in best case.
Compared to Springsteen´s recent Satisfaction or Susan Boyles Wild Horses version
this is just lousy,no credit at all deserved.
