Just two weeks ago I was watching the remake of the movie Breathless that I hadn't seen since 1983. Richard Gere's character is a big fan of Jerry Lee, and Lewis' music is key to the whole thing as it propels the movie forward. It's a nice tribute.

I received my copy yesterday and have been buried in it ever since. The '72 Tour--in my opinion-- is the Stones at the top of their game. This collection is an abundance of information on that topic that every Stones fan will appreciate seeing compiled in one place. Nothing like listening to your favorite album and then finding out the sequence has been shuffled to even out the times of each of the four tape tracks, with the longer songs interrupted by the KA-CHUNK! sound of the tape switching between tracks. Tattoo You came out that year, and I wonder if the cover that featured Mick and Keith bothered Charlie, Bill and Ronnie. The "Mick Jagger" banner was probably the work of a local promoter. When Ronnie was in the Faces, it was common for promoters to bill them as "Rod Stewart & Faces" to sell more tickets.
