No, I just remember reading that - not sure where, but I definitely did. I mean, it was probably just a rumour at the time, but I remember thinking how odd that would be if that actually happened.

QuoteBashlets I thought there was talk about releasing the jagger solo tour shows from Japan and Australia dvd and cd? Yet again don’t remember where I read it or just rumor I read that too. It was originally going to be released under the Stones 'From The Vault' banner, which seemed strange.

The Stones should have done a Bond song. Out Of Control would have worked as a Bond theme.

I am happy if it's a new Mick solo album. Hopefully Eazy Sleazy will be on it.

I'm fairly sure this was just a cheap cash-grab by Decca at the time to cash-in on Gimme Shelter (the film).

Quoteronniewoody91 It's kinda funny to me that Ronnie has this bunch of musicians he can play gigs with outside of the Stones and Keith has the Winos..and then there is Mick whose live solo efforts always came across as kinda ridiculous to me...it's just amusing that the Stone who wanted to break away from the band the most, in the end is the one who is most dependent on them...I think

Oh and without Charlie it'll be uninteresting even if they're playing on the surface of the Mars .... Pls stop posting negative posts about the Stones performing without Charlie. Quotebv People do post in old threads all the time. Then I have to delete the new comments, and close the thread, in order to avoid confusion. No worries, no need to say sorry or excuse me, it's just a matter of keeping the number of old threads with "new life" down. If you meet a person on the street, and this person ask a question, then 1, 2 or 5 years later, you meet this

Hi, I think I may have broken the rules by posting in old threads that were dormant for a long time. I won't do it again, but I was wondering if anyone knows why this isn't allowed? Not trying to be rude - I just genuinely didn't know it wasn't allowed and I was just wondering why it wasn't Thanks EDIT: Sorry, I didn't realise this would come up on this

I think it is the collector in me that doesn't like not having a physical copy. When things are released digitally, they almost feel like they don't exist - if Youtube closed down tomorrow, that song would pretty much disappear from existence, and I don't like that idea.

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteBarkerboy2 Still frustrates me that this one never got a CD/vinyl release. It's not even on Spotify or iTunes (as far as I can tell)! Surely Mick and Dave both knew that there would be legions of Stones and Foos fans out there willing to part with their money?! Get a subscription on YouTube Music, then. That way Grohl and Mick will get paid and you will get th

Quote2000 LYFH We all know (or should know) the story of how the Beatles - A Day In The Life was originally two new song fragments that were merged into one (possibly their greatest song). Did something similar ever happen with Mick and Keith? They definitely should have left it as two songs - that way we could have skipped Paul's part completely

Quotematxil Quotepeoplewitheyes I actually started to listen to Bridges to B after listening to DW, and had to switch it off. It sounded so mannered and dull. I never thought I'd say this, but I am becoming a DW fan. I'm gonna blaze one up and put it on loud again this afternoon. As I mentioned, I love the vitality of it, M sounds wired and angry, the guitars are nasty, and alth

I love this album. I really love how polarizing it is too - it amazes me when people say it's bad. I think maybe some people can't see past the cover. I will say this though (for what it's worth) - I would love to see a three-disc Super Deluxe edition. The first disc would be the album, disc two would be a 'lost and found' disc with all the songs we know and love from Cr

Quotemicawber Nearly 25 years after release I still don't get the idea/concept behind this album. For me its not an album, more a collection of songs. Interesting: 'Tattoo You' just is a collection of songs, but to me feels like their best 'late' ALBUM to me. B2B was recorded like that, f.ex. no Keith on 'Saint': just a collection of songs instead. Just a han

I misread the part about Amsterdam only being 15 minutes :/ Hopefully the NYC show will be one that wasn't already on Four FLicks, or this release is a bit pointless :/

This will be great - if it's not the same NYC show as Four FLicks! Mind you, the Amsterdam gig looks like the bonus show (like Salt Lake City in the Copacabana box and the Tokyo Dome show in the Steel Wheels box), so that alone ensures a sale from me
