It's time to give it a rest. It's my toilet break song. At least Miss You starts and finishes - MR just draaaaaaaaaaaags live. I love the original though.

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteDoxa Little I know of VOODOO LOUNGE. I recall the main vocals of "Baby Break It Down" was by Mick. Or what does "Keith Song" really means? But "Tell Me Straight "is a beautiful song, and it works in the album as well as the "Keith Songs" - you know, him singing main vocals - once did when there was one per album. - Doxa

I'm not a fan, but I love that most people seem to adore it. To me, it brings down the party vibe of Hackney Diamonds. Besides, you forgot to list Sleep Tonight - that song is beautiful. Agree with Illusion though - one of his all time very best.

Hi all, Huge apologies if there is another similar thread, but I did a search and nothing came up. I regularly listen to/watch Justin's awesome Hang Fire podcast, and I was wondering if there are any other Stones or Stones-related podcasts anyone could recommend. Thanks in advance!

QuoteSwayed1967 Wow! This thread had ‘circle jerk’ written all over it but most posters resisted the urge to whip it out. Bravo! I state emphatically that HD doesn’t belong in the top 3 and the majority of posters agree. TY, ER and UC – there’s your top 3, no need to start a poll. Oh, a few kooks will always put Dirty Work on top, but hey, it takes all kinds. I myself am not completely immune

QuoteMadMetaphoricalMax I've always loved the long instrumental Munich Hilton, but it appears it's from later sessions than B&B.... That doesn't seem to have been much of a problem to them in the past!

Thank you That's a bugger - I would love this, but I really don't think I can afford the postage. I live half an hour from Carnaby Street though, so fingers crossed they will release it here too

I keep seeing stuff about how huge she is - yet I think I have only ever heard one of her songs! Might have to give her a listen. I'm 41 by the way - for context.

QuoteSwayed1967 My review of HD. Let me preface it by saying I haven’t listened to it in months. Angry – Vacuous lyrics (sad when compared to Mick’s truly provocative lyrics in the 60s and 70s but I suppose we should all be used to it by now) but the mediocrity of the song is partially concealed by the production. It kinda sounds like ‘Sweethearts Together’ on steroids. It’s ok, I guess, if yo

I would really love to see a big spectacle like Voodoo or Bridges. The last few stages have been very underwhelming. I know it's about the music ultimately, but lets face it - ticket prices are disgusting these days, so I want as much bang for my buck as is possible to get!

Laugh, I Nearly Died 5. Whole Wide World 6. One More Shot 7. Little Rain 8. Hurricane 9. Don't Stop 10. Mess It Up 11. Oh No, Not You Again 12. Living In A Ghost Town 13. This Place Is E

Mine was The Stones. Voodoo Lounge 1995 at Wembley Stadium. My Dad worked for an insurance company who got a job-lot of tickets for employees. Someone dropped out and my Dad asked me if I wanted to go. To be honest, I wasn't overly bothered as I had probably only heard Satisfaction and Jumping Jack Flash at the time, and being 13, I was into far cooler music (haha). I said yes though, coz I

I like Dirty Work, to be fair. And the last two tracks on Bridges bore me to tears, so I guess we all just have different tastes/opinions. I do usually love the Keith tracks, so I am more disappointed in myself for not really getting TMS more than anything! I would actually count Thru And Thru and Sleep Tonight as two of my fave Stones songs so I'm definitely not adverse to a Keith vocal.

I'm not sure what it is about TMS that I'm just not getting. To me, Hackney Diamonds is ultimately a bit of a party - quite uplifting. Then TMS comes on and it just doesn't feel like it fits - I find myself skipping it sometimes in the car. The same with Dreamy Skies, though to a lesser extent. Shame really, because Keith tracks on Stones albums are usually a highlight for me - I
