I was hoping for Liam Gallagher again, but good to see so many are happy about this line-up! That's what it's all about!

Quotewindmelody Bakerboy, that is a real nice story: Obviously we both are in a similar age - and boy: If Charlie Watts had sent me something in the nineties I would have been over the moon. Congratulations to you, a great memory. It's quite surreal looking back at it! Thank you by the way - I still treasure each item to this day and always will!

My Dad used to be a Financial Advisor, and around the time of the Bridges To Babylon tour, he had a client whose next-door neighbour was apparently Charlie's cousin. When Dad told her about me being a fan, she told her neighbour. Anyway, next time Dad was round there, she told him that she had mentioned me to Charlie's cousin and that she had called him up. Apparently he was surpris

I normally wouldn't pay any attention whatsoever to anything that is printed in The Sun. It does mention his sister on his Wikipedia page though.

Personally, I would count Ronnie's two solo live tribute albums too. Even though they were covers, they were still new recordings by a Stone. As in, we hadn't had previous versions from Ronnie before. If we include all the bonus tracks from the deluxe editions, The 40 Licks & Grrr tracks, LIAGT, as well as Watching The River Flow, Eazy Sleazy, Gotta Get A Grip, England Lost, Stra

I'm pretty sure the Fisher Price Little People set was commissioned while Charlie was still here. I don't really think his passing has anything to do with it. I'm just amazed there are still no Stones Funko Pops!!!

This release seems to have gone under the radar somewhat. It's only extracts admittedly, but still nice to see something from Brian. Apologies, and please delete if this has already been mentioned here - I couldn't find a similar post. ... -of-murder Selected Extracts From The Original Soundtrack of A Degree Of Murder Brian Jones "In early 1967 Brian Jones f

I have often wondered what happened to the planned 'On Air' DVD that was mentioned in the original press release. It was claimed that an album, a book and a DVD was to be released, but we only ever got the album and book! Probably would have contained stuff like this!

On the 'TFI The Rolling Stones' show with Chris Evans broadcast back in 97 or 98 (I forget), Ronnie definitely said that he can barely see the audience when he was onstage, so I am sure he wears glasses at home - or perhaps he had laser surgery since then.

To my tastes, the Tattoo You bonus disc was by far the best one so far! Closely followed by Some Girls, then Exile, then Goats, then Sticky Fingers (which was pointless in my opinion )

I just buy the best-priced option of each one. With Licked Live In NYC, I simply went for the CD+DVD version (I already have Four Flicks, so I was mainly in it for the audio version and the couple of extra tracks). El Mocambo, just the double CD. But I totally get your plight. In terms of concert prices though, I was surprised at how reasonable they were this time. I paid £110 per standing tic

I like ABB. There are some songs I never listen to - Sweet Neo Con, Rain Fall Down etc because the lyrics simply make me cringe, but there are certain songs that are on regular rotation for me; This Place Is Empty, Look What The Cat Dragged In, Laugh, I Nearly Died, Rough Justice etc... For my personal tastes, I would have included Don't Wanna Go Home, Under The Radar and Hurricane and le

A friend says he's seen the setlist which is from the 18th. This also matches the teaser video with Keith sans jacket. My apologies! So wait, sorry - is this not the show from Four FLicks then?
