Quoteclaremont29 Having the read the reviews and the threads concerning the Stones tour, I am at a loss for words to explain all the negative comments from the Stones look old, keith playing is off, Mick is confused, Charlie is tired on the end, etc. etc. etc.. Well the reality is the Stones members are old. They are all in their 70's. Since they don't play together most of the year,

QuoteRoughJusticeOnYa QuoteRawIguanaCologne QuoteRoughJusticeOnYa Nice tribute!! But what's so 'punkrock' about it/ them? Yeah, good question: they never called themselves "punkrockers", for lots of people from that scene they were "too funny", but they always did intelligent and clever songs, combining 50s rnr, punkrock, spaghetti country and so on .

Concerning all the complains about the Stones playing their material too slow, etc. pp. This German funny punkrock pop band used a well-known solo for a remix in 1986 for Bela B. their singing drummer´s nummer "Ist das alles?" The only guitar player Farin Urlaub does the solo. Enjoy!

hi folks, to me - in the 1st place - is delivering SFTD as the 1st song something great, something new, I must admit, I was longing for something like that, as much as I love Jumping Jack Flash and Start Me Up, it would nowadays take a lot of my advance enthusiasm as they were flogged to death as openers imho. I became to hate SFTD during the last years, Mick´s singing on this very positio

QuoteMisterDDDD Just received a cc on their reply.. From :The Rolling Stones To: Michael Getzner Dear Mr Getzner, Thank you for your inquiry. In a word- No. The primary reason is we wouldn't dare do all those songs in a public set as most are songs we don't play that often and as such, we are likely to make one or two mistakes. While, we understand to some one or two mista

Quote: Having listened to the 2 live versions now, I´m almost sure that this is a kinda key track inside the actual set - comfortable to play, under mid tempo, giving the whole band a chance after the 1st third to come down and focus. but with everybody giving what they have. I´m pretty sure they use DANCING WITH MR D the way they do on total purpose. Oh, I´m afraid I pushed my luck as they

Hey bv.. don´t let it get to you that much... we´re running, and myself, what might sometimes be called a "setlist-whiner", I´m just fascinated by the way the boys mixed up their set - even if they stay with it and only change the one voted song--- what I´m taking out of the last few days is tht there is sth going on, and it´s not them doing a Vegas set by sticking with the 2014/15/1

I´m really delighted when I see them diggin out stuff like "2000 Light Years..." or "Anybody seen...." I have no feelings like, oh, they don´t nail it, oh my God and stuff. I´m just happy they try again and again (could be more often) I´m not a regular "setlist whiner", okay...I am!!!! But I often argued here in this forum with talking about the McCartney s

As I´m not really being a person of reflections about artistical things I don´t appreciate that much: (I´m no Lady Gaga hater!) Watching the medley makes it very obvious for me, Ms. Gaga took the opportunity to set herself on the actual Bowie movement, of course it´s a shame we´re down to such a situation..... Now we have kinda like young people who will soon learn about Bowie, and - -in

I just would like to know, 1 1/2 year ago I was totally sure that I would never see Keith come alive not just on stage, but... being aware, you know what I mean? I just CAN´T say bad things about this album, I always liked the Winos, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel...very clear... Nope, I just CAN´T say something bad about this very album.... Welcome back, you SON OF A GUN!

QuoteTurner68 we can play stones albums by numbers.... there's a pretty standard formula: 1 mick trying to sound contemporary track (emotional rescue, undercover, anybody seen my baby) 1 upbeat, rocking/heavy on the hooks number, written to be the single (trying to emulate brown sugar, tumbling dice, miss you, etc.) 1 harder rocking number for the rockers in the crowd (bitch, rip
