"Now and then" spotted on the blue album, as announced by Amazon. The release is announced for November 10, 2023. So will the last new songs of the Beatles and of the Stones appear within a month?

Quote24FPS Quotedoitywoik Quote24FPS Quotedoitywoik Quote24FPS I think they'd like at least a couple new numbers to add to the worn out Warhorses. Ghost Town won't be relevant, hopefully, by the time they roll through Europe. If they had liked the idea of adding new numbers to their batch of war horses they could already have done so for many years (rather, decades). They always do

QuoteJordyLicks96 Posted on timeisonourside: Mid-to-late February 2022: Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, with Matt Clifford, are likely holding recording sessions at GeeJam Studios in the northeast Portland parish of Jamaica to resume work on the Rolling Stones' next album. (Mick Jagger posts pictures online on February 18 of his presence in the area, and reveals to a journalist he is ther

In memoriam Brian Jones, who corrected a spelling mistake in his Proust questionnaire ("Abbhor?"), I'd like to point out that "memoriam" is written with an "a" between "i" and "m" and is therefore spelled "memoriam".

You really should not believe anything you're told: I always understood "red coal carpet". Then I saw the ABKCO video and thought, oh well, another fantasy of mine laid to rest. So "red coat carpet" is it then. Thanks!

QuoteJumpinJeppeFlash Quotekuenzer It Won't Take Long Only played once as i remember it, Hollywood Bowl. According to what Jagger says at the beginning, they played it at least twice: video: Still, it sounds a bit underrehearsed. (It's the one song from after 1990 for which I've always turned the volume up.)

QuoteWitness QuoteDoxa on December 30, 2015, 17:01 on page 44 of this thread Funny thing to consider is if Keith's claim in LIFE holds true - that Mick would wanted to record the whole album (A BIGGER BANG) again in a proper studio, but Keith and Was vetoed (because they liked the 'raw feel' on it, or something) - what it would have turned to be like? Had it been polished too much

QuotegeorgelicksWe have a long way to go until we see the album out, the band won't release it until they are 100% satisfied with the material, they were not happy with ABB at the end, so no matter how long it takes with the new one. What was it they were not happy about with ABB? Yes, they should take their time. Ideally, the result is then better than what each of them could have prod

QuoteHairballHopefully he's writing something epic - sometimes creative greatness is the result of experiencing hard times. In just a moment he will fall asleep while the tape is still running... Incidentally, I've just re-listened to Doom and Gloom and to One More Shot, and Keith Richards wins hands down.

I can't believe people are already being negative about it when the band are in the process of making it and you haven't even heard it yet. Nate The Stonesfans won't like it no matter what. 1. Why does only Jagger decide on the setlists? 2. Why does only Jagger decide on whether to record a new album? 3. Did Jagger allow you to produce a solo live album in the coming months? If so, did he agree that you include some of your new songs?

QuoteRollingFreak Listen, I LOVED A Bigger Bang. I know I'm in the extreme minority, but I think it was far and away their best album since Tattoo You. Nothing else is even close. I completely agree. Why is it completely ignored on their setlists? Richards' decision to publish his album now is a statement in favour of continuing productivity. Jagger is overly careful. What if it

Researching such a list was a useful exercise. It led me to the conclusion that on Steel Wheels there was really nothing to write home about (well, Terrifying is a nice dance song). And that A Bigger Bang is the best album of that period.
