Very likely the rehearsals are finished as they only usually spend a week with full band, Boston is a 6 hour direct flight back to London they may spend a week there and return to Boston towards the end of this week, with a day or two more rehearsing with Steve Jordan. Sasha's posts seem to indicate last day rehearsing was 3rd or 4th September.

Keith is in the control room of Studio 1 of Germano usual haunt in New York, just messing around. Does anyone know the model of the bass I Know it is a Hofner Typical Variant of a Model 500 I cant determine the model or year It is very well aged so likely prior to 1970 I don't think he is mucking around in releasing new music for the stones, most recent recordings have bee

The rehearsals are in a location they are familiar with, high security and soundproof, you are unlikely to hear anything unless you have special privledges to get closer to the building. No point in trying to listen to them. Will not disclose location, I only know as I can recognise the rehearsal studio from past visits. The fact that they are not posting a lot of photos from rehearsals impl

Its been rumoured previously on this site that they will do a series of concerts at Royal Albert Hall as part of the Halls 150th year celebrations in 2021, these concerts may be bought forward to 2020. They may do the same in USA pick one venue and you travel to see them. No more touring, just smaller uncomplicated concerts.

Curious how many IORR fans have a RS pinball, I purchased the Bally 1980 pinball in July 2016 from a Recording Studio in Nashville (near mint) and shipped it to Sydney Australia, purchase price was $4,000 USD, another $300 for freight within US to my agent and $550 US to freight it to Australia. Will put some photos up shortly. There were 5,700 of the 1980 machines produced.

Below is a link on an article from a web site live2use It quotes 3 likely bands The Smiths Pink Floyd Fleetwood Mac My money would be on "The Smiths", they have been offered ridiculous money to reform, and always refuse , even if its just Morrissey and Marr, the sums offered are $50 million US for something like 8-10 shows. Rumours have even discussed up to $80 milli

Strong contender is Jimmy Barnes from Australia, after Bon died they rehearsed with him extensively but he declined the offer as he had a number one record with his band Cold Chisel in Australia, he is a Scotsman by birth and lives in Australia. His singing style is very close to Brian, and he is the same age group as Brian and Angus. Still a very active, with Cold Chisel and solo, and close to

Mick Jagger called session guitarist Chris Spedding (Roxy Music / Sex Pistols / Sharks/ Wombles) The call was made a week before Ronnie got the gig, I don't believe Chris even turned up to Rotterdam, as this call would have been after the Rotterdam auditions. Source of the audition request is Spedding himself (see link below) He fit the profile for the Stones being English, a

Without naming the identity of profiles, which full members of the stones (past or present)do you believe have posted comments on IORR, we know about the pseuedo identities of stones confidants , relatives, employees and advisers, however over the past few years, some of the postings are spot on, whilst infrequent I believe that occasionally one of Mick, Keith, Ronnie, Charlie , Bill or even Mick

This is merely a guess, but I believe the producer could be Tony Visconti, he as recently discussed in November he was doing Studio Work in secret in December he couldn't disclose the client. As far as secrecy he recently produced David Bowie's last album, without anyone knowing it was in production or where it was recorded until finished, he runs very tight closed studio sessions.

An attractive option for funding a show would be Mick Taylor with Bill Wyman, it would appease a lot of fans. Taylors pub tour of Australia in 2013 which was cancelled was probably likely to make say $5,000 AUD per night, Bill Would make slightly more for his shows . Put them together and offer them $20,000 AUD per night. Decent Venue with capacity of say 2,000 (small enough for IORR fan

Pirates is currently filming on the Gold Coast in Australia, it has been filming for about 4-5 weeks , last 2 with Johnny Depp, no sightings of Keith here, production was delayed by a few months, Keith could have dropped into the studio in November when the Stones played Brisbane as it is only an hour from where they played, unlikely to have happened then and that is unlikely to happen now.
