Quotebitusa2012 QuoteMunichhilton It’s good but Hanks is the weak spot. His miscasting is distracting at best…and to get all this info into 2.5 hours was a whirlwind. And I agree, Top Gun 2 was exceptional There was not much “info” in Elvis. Almost all the Elvis/Parker stuff is pure fiction. True. I guess I should’ve said “entertainment”

It’s an interesting outtake that somehow made the album. Kind of like Mean Disposition

QuoteShootsWaterRats Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but I think the sound on this release is disappointing for all the reasons one might anticipate these days: brickwalled, compressed, fake reverb added. It's like Bob Clearmountain is trying to appeal to today's youth audience that is used to music being overly processed and polished. I'm baffled by comments from I

Its crap live. They never got the boogie or even the rhythm right. Stick with the studio version...

Quote24FPS Yes, Darryl lacks something. Maybe he quit playing like Bill after Voodoo Lounge, but what did he replace it with? A meandering, emotionless playing that does nothing to enhance the sound. Bill wasn't afraid to assert his playing and could lead the band, or gather it when it was wobbling too far. I can think of Bill bass lines that are absolutely essential, and memorable. Sati

Quotedcba QuoteRollingFreak Definitely one of their better modern songs. I agree. Too bad Mick totally swallowed the media lies spread by the usual spin doctors. "Another Munich we just can't afford"... cmon Mick, Saddam wasn't a modern-day H!tler. It was actually true this time...nobody can afford me my man!

Great band. Worth the price of admission for sure. Someone in the band died recently...Bones? I'd have to look it up but still should be good with Jim, Peter and Rob doing their thing.

I gotta think with the release of L&G along with the deluxe Exile that Mick would feel 1972 has been sufficiently revisited. Nothing more to come while he’s in charge of packaging product…

QuoteDoxa Quotecyclist Dreadful setlist. I'm a casual fan---mid 30s, seen them 15 or so times, including two gigs this leg---but I'm done. It's been a delight. I've put enough gold rings on THEM. Well, if it takes 15 gigs for a casual fan to get fed up with them, they are pretty obviously doing something right... - Doxa As a fan of dressing casual, I say bring back t

Saw them a few times and it was always fun. He added so much to the music. Loved his vocal breaks and accents. He was as much a part of the original sound as Ali was. An all around fun band…as Astro would say, just tell it like it is

Such a difficult corner of the collector's marketplace to appraise. This is ultimately worth what somebody is willing to pay. To think one guy is willing to pay $17,640 for an original is one thing, but someone had to be bidding against him so there were at least 2 willing to pay that. In the end he didn't buy it because of the band but the artist.
