Nice tune and strong chorus. I like the mix of 12 string and slide on the riff...good one! It’s about time they did new music

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteMunichhilton I’m not sure how anyone could think Brian’s departure negatively affected the band when that resulted in what everyone calls the golden age or the creative peak! Of which Brian also took part (2 out of 4 albums) That’s a stretch...but he was there I suppose. No expectations is gorgeous

Quotegeorgie48 QuoteMunichhilton Ian or Bill. I think Darryl is fantastic though so maybe Ian. I don’t like his replacement as much as Bills... ??? Ian's replacement? Nicky Hopkins? Ian must have loved his input any time. Or do you mean Chuck? Well, he's not really Ian's replacement, I would say, he's part of the Rolling Stones G3 and G4. Brian's departure changed th

QuoteJavadave I wonder why Page doesn’t put out an archival live vault series? Supposedly, he owns the master soundboard reels to almost every Led Zeppelin performance. It would be amazing to hear high quality, professionally mixed editions instead of the often inferior recordings that circulate as bootlegs. It was a nice treat hearing the 1969 Olympia Theatre concert officially issued with th

Nah, they could command and dictate royalties and even publishing. Elvis did. The only way this could work is if a hit single was written for them to lead off the album with. Then the rest, filler if you like, would be their own compositions. This was the Dirty Work formula and we all love that offering!

Mocambo would be a fan favorite choice mixed by Eddie Kramer and not Bob C...but they’re probably gonna let these two new releases soak in for some months

QuoteFoolToCry QuoteTopi Both Mick and Nicky are credited for piano. But honestly, there are three bass players and Jim Horn on flute for "Dancing with Mr. D" (Glyn Johns 1973 Mix)... I wouldn`t rely on the credits - but on my ears (as a musician & pianist):-) If you can’t hear the flute in Mr D, I question your ears! It backs the slow dangerous guitar riff! Very Tull!

QuoteHairball QuoteTopi QuoteHairball Not sure if those credits can be trusted as there's lots of mis-info. sprinkled throughout. In "Uncut", Mick says it's Keith on the other piano part. Seems clear Mick is just winging it/improvising in some of these interviews - he's admitted he says a lot of stupid comments when promoting albums. While it would be nice to know if

QuoteBig Al QuoteMunichhilton QuoteBig Al Why was a track like Key To The Highway excluded from, say, The Rolling Stones No.2, yet Under The Boardwalk was included? Crazy decision-making! Definitely a producers decision on that. Boy band bee bop could produce a minor hit possibly Bizarrely, the Stones' rendition of Under the Boardwalk reached #1 in Australia. See, it worked!
