I'm pretty sure that's Steve Jordan on drums...and Darryl on bass but they sound great!

I don't need new songs like "living in a ghost town" which is Mick solo declared as stones. Give us El Mocambo!
Salt of the Earth, Brown Sugar, You Can’t Always Get What You Want, Winter,Miss You, and many others are basically Micks songs.Keith had almost nothing to do with their creation. Are those Mick solo songs? On the El Mocambo set list some of the songs are almost all Mick

I know that. But it´s different, as you know. These were songs, developed as a group. LIAGT is a homerecording with some overdubs from Keith and Ronnie (I even doubt it´s a human-played beat)

But that´s the wrong discussion, what I wanted to say is: I ABSOLUTELY NEED that El-Mocambo-recording, even with that messed up reverb, changing that little club-vibes into an arena atmosphere.

deardoctor, your opinion about LIAGT is wrong. Holy crap is it wrong.

Hope it happens, and seems it will eventually.
The delay could be due to some friction between Keith and Mick over something minimal...maybe the album cover design...

Clever.

The delay is because of the delay of tour announcement.

Will be very disappointed if the stones tamper with the archive release to that extent.

Possible delay because the vinyl pressing plants are in Canada. The masters were flown into Canada and the Mounties detected narcotics on the master tapes. After a brief deliberation, the judge sentenced the master tapes to be mixed at a benefit concert for the blind. History repeats itself I guess

It's too early for that. For the moment, be glad that El Mocambo will indeed be released and that it is not just a rumour.

ok, GasLightStreet, this is interesting.
I´m now looking forward to your informations about the recording, that I did´nt know.

LIAGT was recorded in 2019 at a studio session where all four Stones were present. Mick overdubbed his vocal part in 2020 with rewritten lyrics.

I wish they had used some of the pictures from the actual gig on the sleeve. They looked pretty mean and rugged back then.

So, any news on the usual "gotta get the Japan release for bonus tracks" yet?

Route 66 from 3/4 is available in excellent quality. I could see bonus tracks available.

Be patient - the status on [www.Amazon.fr] is still "TBC" - so things (and prices) will change until the release date.

Have talked to several Norwegian music companies who say that they do not take it in because it is considered a bootleg since it is not the Stones who release. What is right?

Music companies or music stores? The latter probably don't know that El Mocambo will be officially released yet. Don't worry smiling smiley

The French website now has a 13 May release date.

This date was displayed there already on 17-Mar-2022 - [iorr.org] . Some of the other Amazon-sites (now disappeared) had still displayed 29-Apr-2022.
