30 years later some of us are still waiting for this track to surface. I remember an interview with Jimmy Page where he said that even he has no copy of this song. Can't tell you how much I would love to hear my greatest guitar-heroes together on one song... silkcut

Thanks Rockman - silly me :-) I begin to mess things up more and more, must be a sign of age... Joe - it was collector named Chris (Eborn ? I fear I'm wrong again) who bought this item when it was on auction for the first time, but not Chris Jagger. As a second acetate was offered (the one I wrote about) it wasn't sold. Still I would like to buy it if I only knew who's the one w

I think there's an 78rpm-acetate on sale every now and then at Sotheby's including "You Can't Judge A Book", "Soon Forgotten" and "Pretty Thing" - I missed it last time as I learned about it about 5 days too late. That was back in 1992/1993 but it was not that cheap at all - somewhere around GBP 6.500 if I remember correctly. silk

I'm sure it won't happen but what about a concert series like 3 or 4 entire shows from the States, 1 from Japan, 2 South American and 2 or 3 European shows - they could put them up on iTunes or any site they like, sell them for $ 19,99 each. I would be the first to dl and pay for each and every show. silk

Hi worstkindaguy, actually the version I seeded on Dime was payed by someone - otherwise I would have no copy and I suppose there would be no seed. so was this guy just supporting bootlegers or is he maybe the one who made this all possible? Cheers silkcut

It might be INTERESTING what Mathijs is writing and thinking to have a further opinion - that's why we all post here. But it is not IMPORTANT what he's thinking. He might be the best dutch guitarist ever - but who cares ? We're in here because of the Stones and not because of a dutch cover band - at least that's my idea. I prefer to use my ears, my eyes - what about you?

Hi Zangrilo, I sold my copy on Ebay for about GBP 250,- (nearly EUR 400,-) a few months ago - but mine was black, not red. This is in fact a legal and very limited release and was available for a very short period only. It's worth the money and it seems to be cheap for $ 200,- Cheers silk

Thanks turd - my problem over here is that it's nearly impossible to get a good player for it. Shipping from the US is often more expensive than the player/recorder and that's why I never bought one myself. But I still have a few 8-tracks (Stone Age - funny enough as it wasn't even an US-LP, Got Live, Flowers and GHS and maybe a few others) and as you wrote, mine look really bad to
