first of all I want to wish a great 2006 for all of you!

This is my first topic but I need any and urgent info about this cd.

Have any ever seen that? Pictures below (hope its working!) if yes, could you tell me the suggested price? It comes with a Certificate and a metal piece over the wood box, also a kind of Certificate that just 1.000 copies was issued. The year of this release was 1986 at ABKCO, thank you very much for any answer.

Really I didn't. And I think the only reason why other people did not reply, is because they don't know it. Where are you from? Maybe it is some eastern europe bootleg release?

it says certificate of authenticity, but it isn't numbered.that seems odd.

Hey Zang- check Ebay maybe a copy is out there for sale. Also check "Completed" listings.

I would bet my left nut that it is an unofficial release. That said, if the pic is 3-D (can't tell from the photo), it might be nice to own for $50 bucks or so (it's either this or the new tour program!)

My guess is that it's unofficial and the 3D pic comes straight off the official album. I've neither seen nor heard of this nefore. And besides, if it was real, ABCKO would surely have done it for other albums, like Let It Bleed and Beggars Banquet.

I have this. It is a genuine Abkco release from 86. I think I got it at about 100$ then.

sorry if I am looking in a hurry (I am!), would like to say a big thank you for all of you. The owner said to me that this release was the 30th copy. I am really confused as I make a big 'googled" and could not have in replay any line about it. Also at Ebay and also at the stunning Popsike website.

I am a lucky brazilian (RS at Copacabana beach next month!!!) and the guy is asking something about $200. He also said to me that it is an official USA ABKCO realease from 86 comemorative for the "Their Satanic" 20 years. The 3-D holo is genuine as he said to me.

May I buy this release? It is a lot of money...

One asked, at a very right sense, where we could be certified that it is the 30th copy? Maybe at the metal seal. I will ask the owner to send to me a picture of the number of this release. More replies will be very appreciated yet.

Yes. $200 for a hotel room in Rio in February sounds better than this! Have fun. I was in Sao Paulo for Christmas.

I sold my copy on Ebay for about GBP 250,- (nearly EUR 400,-) a few months ago - but mine was black, not red.

This is in fact a legal and very limited release and was available for a very short period only.

It's worth the money and it seems to be cheap for $ 200,-

Official or unofficial, why would you want it? Does it have a chance of sounding better than the SACD? And no way would it sound better than the UK vinyl?

I saw a CD-version of Their Satanic Majesties Request with a cover that could be flipped (Like the first version of the LP). I found it in Venecia, I think it was called (Northern Italy) in a record shop by a big open area in the city. It was in 1999 and I was down there to play soccer with my team. Didn't know that it was probably special, because at that time I had only been a fan for 1 year.

It was just my soccer team I played for in 9 years. They're called "Horsens Freja". We sucked BIG time at that tournament. Lost two matches against two Italian teams, and won one against a team from North Carolina (US). That match was won 1-0 and guess who scored the goal?

This is not an official release!

When this Satanic box came out, at the same time a box in the shape of a mouth including the Sticky Fingers CD was released. This company not only made special packages for Stones CD's, but also for other groups. They used the official released CD's and simply packed them in a nice box. Nothing to do with ABKCO or Rolling Stones Records!
It's worth what you want it to be.

I would go with drbryant, buy the SACD release and the MONO copy. You should get both for $200.--.
