Howdy, folks! We are experiencing massive network problems with our new DB server since today (Tuesday) afternoon. Obviuosly, either a hardware problem with the server (NIC) or with the switch serving the subnet of our DB server. All servers (trackers) are stopped until the problem is fixed. How long this will take, is currently unknown. Maybe a day or longer. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! dimeadozen.org

I'm sure they'll be back soon! If not, I'll put it on RocksOff.... ;-)
Truth is stranger than fiction

just received this on the DaD mailing-list - as the Mod suggested in an earlier mail Dime is unlikely to be back before tomorrow evening

Well, it needed three trackers to reproduce the problem, but it's back now.
Servers will be stopped now again, as most of the connections fail after the problem started. Just doesn't make sense to create gb's of error log files.
G, thanks so much for sharing the Montreal and Boston shows on Rocksoff! I really appreciate your bandwidth donation and your time in sharing these torrents.
I salute your enthusiasm to come up with all these shows! But in the end, it is stuff that fills your racks and won't get repeated listening after an initial moment of curiosity. Sound quality is way below par on almost all ABB tour recordings - some very few exceptions aside -

For those of us who attended the Boston or Montreal shows, having a copy of them courtesy of G. the Cock is a memento to be treasured.
No need to be a wet blanket and discourage people from sharing, retired_dog.

What's "par"? This tour's artifacts are no better/worse than any others sound-wise. There are more than a few that would routinely be graded at least A- recordings by experienced raters....

Oh, I forgot those who actually attended these shows...
Any way, opinions are opinions and this is mine. My racks are filled with live stuff and I discovered I'd rather come back to older shows than any ABB tour stuff.
It's probably more the performance quality than the recording. I downloaded a few recent shows that I just deleted after 1 listen. Not terrible, but I'm not a completist.

Actually 260 people snatched Boston, 262 Montreal from RocksOff and DaD, torrents are still running full speed with lots of leechers.
You - retired_dog - are not forced to download what you don't want to, but I feel free to give the people what they obviously want if I've got it first! Maybe it is your opinion and you can have it for sure, but I don't know what you want to express with your comment...

Yeah, that's it. I don't mind a mediocre recording quality when the performance actually grabs me by the balls, but that can hardly be said of too many ABB shows so far.

You're a good boy, G the Cock. No need to read between my lines. What I want to express with my comment is just what I expressed with my comment. ABB shows fill my racks and don't get repeated listening.
