I just love the guitarwork on "Stay With Me". Great rock 'n roll song.

I like all the ones mentioned; and more. But nobody has called up anything from "Slide on This". An excellent album. Opens with a great 1-2-3 punch of "Somebody Else", "testify" and my favorite "It ain't rock'n roll". But there is that nicxely overproduced ballad "Always wanted more" which is really good too.

I really liked Ronnie's album from around 1981 called "1 2 3 4"

It was excellant and had a lot of nice songs.

I think Charlie Watts played drums on most of this album?

Anyway, it's good but I only have it on vinyl.

Cheers to Ronnie Wood!

Steve.

Maybe one of the "1234" lovers here (like T&*A I think) can tell me where I can get it on CD. I have it on vynil but don't have a turntable anymore. I miss hearing it. I find it very weird that literally evrything ( including my band's last rehearsal) is already on disc but a major release by one of the Rolling Stones guitarrists has not been available on disc. Anyone tell me to PM them and I'll be ther.

it's strange as it was released in Japan and in Germany too (as a double together with Gimme Some Neck) but it's nowhere on Ebay - sorry

bless you, my son. There are times when I think I'm the only one who truly "gets" this album. IMO - by far his best.

given the relative lack of availability/findability of 1234, I'm willing to burn a few copies to those who enquire....

My favorite is "Buried Alive" from Gimme Some Neck.

She should've been buried alive, 'cause she's much too pretty to die!

By the way, I'd love to have a copy of 1234. I have all his other albums, but have never been able to find this one. I'll take you up on your offer.

My e-mail is mickboy33@hotmail.com.

Thanks so much!

The version of "I Can Feel The Fire" on the Faces box absolutely smokes.

Rockman,

I haven't heard the Don Covay tribute. That sounds mighty tasty. You always pull the wild stuff out of your hat! Saludos, cabron!
