Hey Justin That's great, thanks for doing the vid. I always wondered my various Open attempts never sound right! BTW, have you seen that guy on youtube (OK a bit vague I know!) doing a contemporary standard tuning version of Brown Sugar? I'll try and find it and post here. CHeers Ted

No one, except Kurt Cobain, knows why Kurt Cobain killed himself. Indeed, several members of Sonic Youth believe he was murdered. Nirvana and Nevermind were a defining point of the 90s...altho there may be some dispute over to the exact decade they existed in ;-) I was fortunate to see them live on the Nevermind tour at the Newcastle Mayfair and have Kurt and Chris sign the cover of my Never

If I was born in 1990 and someone asks me which decade I was born in, I would say the 90s. I'm not going to say the 80s right? I'd sound like I'd gone mental!

You clearly work on a different calendar system to me! I use the same calendar as double door - the 90s started in 1990.

The Stones were respectful, had integrity, respected their covers yadda yadda yadda. Whereas anyone else is just a pathetic rip off merchant with no originality. There is no contradiction here right? Richards has had a career based on Johnny Be Goode and the Open G tuning. All music is based on adapting, call it what you want, someone else's music. I rest my case m'lud.

How can an album released in 1990 be classified as an 80s release?!

Use Your Illusion 1 and 2 came out around 1990 so I believe that qualifies them! Admittedly their best was already behind them by then.

Jane's were an awesome band. I got a copy of Ritual about 1990 and it was on my Walkman for months for my daily walk to college. "Been caught stealin', once, when I was five..." Superb!

"Wow, Robert...talk about biting the hand that feeds you. " Too true. But then again, isn't Robert Plant the reason that LZ's Live Aid performance was omitted from the DVD and the reason we've never seen Earls Court etc given a full official release. LZ is history for him. Except when it suits do a few numbers as encores at his live shows. What a [email protected]

Looking at the track listing a few pages back, I feel that ACDC could've used 'rock' in the titles of some more songs.

Quoteryanpow the more I listen and or watch this version, its kind of embarrasing. On other parts of SAL keith is great, but on this song Its like He can't get the lyrics right to save his life. and to me it seems he has this attitude like " I don't have to know the words"... then why bother? I just get this impression that he and mick are in different worlds and at the m

QuoteAngus MacBagpipe Derivative? Boring on stage? Nasty characters? Sure, but I still think "(What's the Story) Morning Glory" and "Definitely Maybe" are two of the best albums of the 90's. Catchy, melodic, well-produced, straight-forward rock that stands up to lots of repeat listens. How can you not like "Rock N Roll Star" or "Live Forever"? Unf
