I have noticed that Mr. Jagger changed quite a bit in appearance over just the past 4-5 years. If you look at the footage of him in the documentary, "Being Mick", that aired (in the US) in November of 2001, there is a remarkable difference to the photo of him taken in December of 2003, the day that Mick was knighted.

I mistakenly said that James is 70 in my above post. He is actually 73. (Did ya get that ticket yet, Borna?! LOL!)

Hey Borna, I went to see James Brown perform about 4 months ago at the Rams Head Live, a very small venue (1,200 standing, 3 levels) here in the US located in Baltimore, Maryland. We're very lucky to have this new club in our area. If you want to, you can be right in front with your arms on the stage with no problem at any show, which is where I was for James. I love James Brown, always have

Beast (or anyone), what time did you get in on Sunday? I'm headed for the train station (1 hr away) and it won't get in to NY until 7:30. And I can be at the Beacon at 7:45. Think that's too late??

I would suspect that the people on the phones at TM would probably be the last to know about this show as they are about most others. If by some remote chance they did, I doubt they would be permitted to talk about it. Perhaps, the tickets will be sold in another way? It sounds like the crew has arrived at the Beacon and have started to set up for the shows.

Many times brokers are located near the venue and it's not too difficult for you to pick them up before the show or they will often make arrangements to meet you, sometimes at your hotel. Some of them have arrangements with the box office of the venue for you to pick the tix up there. That's why some of them won't come down on a price. I would definitely check with TM or the box of

The tailgate party is happening. Starting around 2-3PM. You do need a wristband, which takes care of your food. They are $5 and you can either send the money in by PayPal or pay Doug at the tailgate. You need to sign up on the Giants tread over on Shidoobee. I haven't heard anything about an organized bus trip, but you can get all of the information about what's going on under the Giant

I called the Clinton Foundation offices in both Arkansas and New York this week and questioned them at length about purchasing tickets to the Oct 29th Beacon Theater show. I was told that donations to the foundation of any size would not give access to tickets and that it would be strictly by invitation only (unlike the Radio City benefit show this past March). It does look like this is a private

Thanks for posting, Vilhelm! Interesting read. I've never believed or have worried at all that the "last tour" which started in what, 81, is anywhere near over. It will be going on for quite a few more years, I think.

If the membership doesn't help you out, you can always get a refund at anytime. I got one back within a coule of weeks and saved the final membership that I'll try to use for the Beacon, if it happens. We'll know very soon. Maybe tomorrow when they announce some of the other shows. (IMO, Radio City was a great show, even in the balcony.)

Don't count out MSG. They'll probably add at least one show there. You'll be able to get tickets for MGM. Tickets are sold in the hotel lobby, if you don't get them before leaving (try ebay if all else fails..you can do OK there). Stay at the MGM (very convenient), party at Zuri's (in the casino) before the show and you'll have a blast in Vegas! Save your pennies for

Thanks for posting, Crash. Rockman has also been posting quite a few things about Theodora and the GP on another thread. I'm watching F1 qualifying live right now...no Theodora on Speed channel yet, but maybe tomorrow during the pre-race coverage when they're on the grid. I would think that is where she would be and probably where Bernie would want her.
