Quotedoitywoik Who knows, maybe they were just doing overdubs for Grrr Live? (Why am I always so pessimistic? ) 587 pages and nearly 18 years later, and all they have to show for it is overdubs for Grrr Live?!!!

Quoteukcal Does this GRRR live explain the tweets about who would you like to see the stones play with?....and kicks the new album back to when ? May/June Guest star overkill! The new album was already kicked backed to May/June/Summer - at least according to Ronnie and his assorted ramblings. But based on the many hurdles, corona-delays, hitting walls, unevenness, etc., of the past, and th

Looks totally rehearsed...like a bad skit from Saturday Night Live that went on for far too long. When Keith did it in '81, the Stones didn't miss a beat!

QuoteBig Al QuoteBashlets hopefully they’re just really happy what they down and want some of their celeb friends to have a listen. My friend bumped into his friend again and now says Producer Andrew Watt is definitely involved somehow with the new record. That is the only information he was given. So it went from a maybe involved to definitely involved. Still haven’t googled Watt Andrew Wa

With all the friends and guests they've been hosting at the studio, hopefully they're maintaining somewhat of a "bubble" to some extent as corona cases seems to be on the rise once again in L.A. From ABC7 Eyewitness News: "The county has been seeing steadily rising case and hospitalization numbers since the beginning of November, prompting health officials last

All those albums are decades old though, and times have changed.... There was also a time when there were hardly any special guests on stage with the band, but in recent times they've had dozens of special guests. That work model could carry over in to the studio, and it might be the only way a Stones album will ever get finished - lots of outside input.

Based on recent history, seems they enjoy the camaraderie and contributions of guests whether on Stones albums, solo material, or other projects. Eric Clapton contributed to Blue and Lonesome. Mick recently collaborated with Dave Grohl on Easy Sleazy. Quite a few collaborated with Mick on the Getta Grip/England Lost remixs. And then there's Micks's involvement in the collaborative

QuoteStonedRambler QuoteDEmerson Maybe at the recent Elton show? He was there and she sang with EJ. The second picture in the Instagram slide shows a studio mixing desk with a Stones pick lying on it. Add her to the list of possible collaborations for the new Stones album....

I saw Dua Lipa perform on Saturday Night Live a couple of years ago, and she was quite good I thought as far as all around performance goes. She could add a bit of exuberance to a new Stones tune, and might help something like "Tell the Truth" become an actual listenable tune vs. the unfinished turd of a snippet that it currently is.
