Thanks for the clip. Awesome performance by the band, firing on all cylinders. Wonderful that Cavett put so much film of the live performance on his show rather than more interview time. Glad whoever mixed the tape had the sense to put Taylor high in the mix. Great lines, great tone. Seems to stop Jagger in his tracks during the BS solo.

Many thanks for the posts. The 1986 East Lansing MI show is not listed in detail on Nico's site, so it appears to be new to circulation. Might you have it in flac or wav? In any case, thanks again.

QuoteEdward Twining What i notice is especially interesting is that the 'doo doo doo's actually come in initially after the first verse on the official BRUSSELS AFFAIR, but always after the second verse on the studio version and the London 73 version. Maybe the Stones eventually felt the song worked more effectively live that way. I have no doubt that the 'doo doo doo's are li

Quotesweetcharmedlife Taylor told BANG Showbiz (via Gibson.com) This means it was taken from a Gibson.com blurb back in March: Nothing new here. One suspects, however, that we'll get a book from Lightnin' before Taylor. Unless she's been reading his manuscript . . .

QuoteGazza The latter. Definitely. I doubt there's the demand for CD/vinyl issues of 5-6 Stones archive concerts a year. Makes no sense, economically, especially in an area where the arse has dropped out of the industry. If what is driving this release is the "promotional" payment from Google and not the royalties, then a CD might not be an essential part of the package. By th

Quotemaarisathena smokey--i think you are right. on the video, mj talks about the 1st show as a throw-away, says something like, "don't know what happened to the first show", as if it doesn't matter--this is the second show (better, cooler--never liked afternoon shows). kr says something like, the first is a run through for the second (although he does say that sometimes the

QuoteJustin once you purchase the album, you can play the tracks through Google Music. To the right of each track name, an arrow is visible, hover over that and there are several options available, one of them being "Save Song To My Computer"....and voila...the mp3's are downloaded to your computer and you can then burn the mp3's on a disc to play through your stereo. Has anyone listened to the MR in full? Did a quick listen of some of the samples. Didn't sound like the "Brussels" I know. Quickly compared HTW TD and RTJ (only the sample portions). I think those are from the second show as suggested in the interview. JJF seemed unfamiliar as well. 1st edit: quick listen to YCAGWYW. Listen to "hands" in the opening version.

QuoteMathijs Concerning Dylan: I've not seen too many pictures, but there's some footage on Youtube of some large stadium show and he was using a Marshall stack. Of course he could have used MM amps too, as Dylan used these amps from the late 70's on. Mathijs There are different setups at different points in the tour and there is the possibility that the wrong stack is being
