Quoteexhpart Vagina? Is it a singalong song? Original working title of Slave (which was not Black And Blue Jam as they try to make us believe in the Tattoo You deluxe booklet). N

Quotegotdablouse So aside from the "usual"mistakes in the credits I found two interesting pieces of information in the liner notes, sorry if they've already been discussed : 1. Black Limousine supposedly started as "Broken Head Blues" (first used on OBR's "Sheep Deep Blues" bootleg LP) and "Biscuit Blues" (on OBR's Paris Results 2 but unr

QuoteCousinC The mag was called Pop.Laterne Pop/Rocky. They had some nice Stones pics. It was just Pop in 1973. Pop/Rocky was years later. Never heard about Laterne. N

QuoteDiamondDog7 With this Tattoo You deluxe release I don't think there will be It's Only Rock n Roll deluxe/anniversary edition at all. Or are there any more outtakes/lost rarities during 1974 during IORR sessions? Because Drift Away is already here. I guess they already gave us the best IORR leftovers on this new TY bonus disc... But I noted the total absence of any Black And B

QuoteLien A look inside the Dome , KMOV news Thanks for the link. But the reported news that the Stones are in town rehearsing since last Sunday can't be true. We all know that they played Foxborough on Monday, flying in on the next day at the earliest. Maybe the news reporters heard roadies checking the sound system... I guess the stadium rehearsals will start today. N

Now also uploaded by The Glimmer Stone (not to be confused with Glimmerman) on YT. I can't blame him for not giving credit and normally his (video) uploads are great, but am I the only one who thinks that (lossy audio) uploads of outtake collections suck? N

Not the Stones, just soundalikes in my opinion. Imagine you did the coup and saved the rights for a totally new and unknown Stones song to play it in your first season of your TV show (of which you hope it will be a big success so you can also do a second season). Would you bury the song in the background like that? And don't mention what you got during promotion or in the cast roll? N

QuoteGazza Quotedcarey too bad that nothing from the Black & Blue outtakes era made the final cut for this one They recorded 'Shame Shame Shame' during the Black & Blue sessions, so its quite possible the soon to be released version is from that period. Plus, we dont know where 'Come to the Ball' is from as no song of that name has ever been documented. It woul

Black & Blue would be a great subject for a deluxe edition. You could promote it as "The Great Guitarist Hunt" and maybe even Jeff Beck finally agrees that some of his contributions can be used. Just speculating, but the total absence of B&B-era bonus tracks on Tattoo You deluxe might be a hint that they are already toying with the idea as well (if Come To The Ball turns out t

Maybe there was another repeat in 1987. After a new research I guess you mixed up your sources.
