Exile was postponed to May 26. From NME May 13, 1972: Stones album delay THE ROLLING STONES' new album -Exile On Main Street will not now be available for another two weeks. Revised release date is now May 26, instead of May 12 as originally planned. Reason for the postponement is to ensure simultaneous release throughout the world. N

QuoteMaindefender QuoteElmo Lewis The Stones songs played by the New Barbarians were: Honky Tonk Women Love In Vain (Robert Johnson) JJF Before They Make Me Run Worried Life is not a Stones song. Performed by NB and confirmed song by Keith in ‘79. What a pleasure if he sings at El Mocambo Jagger sang it at the El Mocambo. It looks like Keith didn't even sing Happy on those nights.

QuoteRank Stranger Thank you very much! This does not sound like the BBC nor Chess versions! Is this a genuine alternate take? It has neither the low-fi sound of the BBC recording nor the great stereo sound of Chess. It has an additional piano and MJ sings the verses differently (the "I'm too young to die"-line already mid-song instead of ending with it.). Might come from Reg

Quote24FPS So....Darryl wasn't invited? Didn't play? Who did play bass with Ronnie, Keith, and Mick? Ginger Baker would have been there if he could. Those two seemed to enjoy each other. Darryl was surely invited and there (dunno if he played though). He said in an interview which he did on December 5 in Hamburg that he is about to fly over to London meeting up with the Stones. N

Same happened to me when I offered a grey market LP on Ebay by Alice Cooper with a 70's radio show on it (which are also sold openly on e.g. Amazon). There's lawyers who got a deal with the management of musicians to prevent such auctions/sales and the normal charge you face is between 300 and 1000 euros. I guess these high figures in BILD and German Rolling Stone (10K to 250K) are theo
