Got row 5 in A2, I'm quite pleased. It'll be the only concert for me this summer. After last year's fiasco I don't dare to invest on more shows.

I would like to hear what Mathijs has to say about Keith's performance. Sadly, I think I'll agree with his future comments.

Blow a B3 through two leslies and it's starting to sound what it's supposed to sound like (requires a good musician). In my opinion it makes a big differences whether there are one or two leslies IF you working with a good organ player.

I quite liked Black Sheep the last time I was in England. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to find in Finland although some pub did have an Emmerdale version of it available. I don't know if it's the same pub. Newcastle Brown Ale is nice and quite often have that as it's widely available in here too. And if not, 10 pints of Lapin Kulta will always do the trick.

It's quite subjective after all. For me the absolute top 2 favourites are Keith and Chuck Berry although I do admire the work of Clapton, Hendrix, Santana, Django and many others. Then again Mr. Van Halen's input to rock'n'roll music is in my opinion not that unforgetable. But I do understand it depends on who you're asking; there must be a million rookie (and another mil

And anyway, we all know how these interviews are done: you sit down, have a cup of tea or a pint of beer and the other guy takes notes. He may or may not have an idea what he wants you to say or what he wants to know and talented journalists have their ways to make you utter headline material. It must be really easy to get someone like Pete Townsed to say something about the Stones and here we ar

It always sounds strange to me when the 12 bar structure is "broken" but it isn't that odd after all. Muddy Waters did it and in some article or book he talked about it saying basically that if it feels right for some song, why shouldn't you do it? Personally, when I'm playing blues and come up with a nice tune it's so deep in my system to make it follow the rules

What are vinyl bootlegs - for example Out on Bail - worth nowadays? I've got a few of them but don't have any idea what they might cost today. Not that I'd be willing to sell, though.

That depends; Keith's been playing it in open G recently even with a 12-string guitar with 10 strings. All in all, I think Keith's been messing around and experimenting with tunings quite a lot over the years. I think he's even tried p

Leah Wood is a singer and she's about to release an album soon through Wooden Records (which, I think, is Ronnie's label). Leah's MySpace site can be found at It is some sort of dance / r'n'b music; it's hard for me to say anything about it since my knowledge of this kind of music is very limited. It seems that her daddy also has a MySpace site at At least

I'm no Mathijs but I would say that the secret is to play it really loud and you'll get the overdrive.

After seeing how this year's European tour was handled, I'm definetily going to take a whole new approach to next summer's attempt. I think I've learned a valuable lesson and I mean literally valuable. I will not buy any tickets in advance. It appears that buying an overprize ticket outside the venue is a safer bet than to throw your hard earned pennies to a billion dollar

It's a big hoax. Can't stop loving the music but these guys - and I mean the band, not the management; they've hired them after all - really aren't showing too much respect at the moment. Personally I lost a considerable amount of money because of them and most of all I will probably have no chance to hear that music I love live ever again.

Thanks for sharing, these are great! However, for one reason or another, there doesn't seem to be anything to download when you click the links to the first three songs (01 Dear Doctor, 02 You Got The Silver, 03 Family). The rest of the links work just fine.

Must have been somewhere around 81-83. I was too young to remember the exact time but I remember asking my brother - already a fan - to play the "I can't get no" -song. And usually I heard some other tunes as well after my request and sort of became addicted... Been a fan ever since.

Some pictures of Bill Wyman & the Rhythm Kings in Oulu, Finland Oct 10-11, 2005. Click 'seuraava' for next picture, 'edellinen' for previous. I saw the first one of the two gigs they played in Oulu. The band was in fantastic form and obviously having great fun. The place was a very small club; only 200 tickets were sold but I'd say 100 would've been en

What's up with this video? All I get to see is a bleeding commercial with a chick going on and on about her armpits (or at least it feels like that after hearing her touching story about life's little mysteries 15 times while trying to open the video).
