My Japanese DVD + 3 CD arrived today. Bonus tracks on DVD - Emotional Rescue, Tumbling Dice, Paint It Black, Before They Make Me Run. CD 3 is the "Japanese Bonus Track" - Happy. DVD plays fine on my (Sony) UK DVD player, Japanese subtitles can be switched off from main menu.

We were in the crush at the end, trying to retrieve our bags from the so-called Unwind area - the stupid security guards were holding barriers across the entrance preventing people getting in. They eventually started to let people in one at a time so they could inspect their wristbands. People at the front (including me and my wife) were getting crushed against the barriers, some were pleading wi

Funnily enough, I was speaking to Mick Ralphs a couple of weeks ago when he played Leicester and he hinted at "something happening in the autumn..." Nothing on MTH or Ian Hunter's website yet. Where did you see this? Ah, just found it on IH's website. Excellent news!

I've now received the following reply from AEG: Thank you for your email and comments and apologies for the confusion regarding Tier 1, 2 and 3 tickets. I have attached a map of the site layout for you. The offer of a refund or downgrade to tier 3 is still available if you would like it, please let us know if you do. Kind Regards AEG Live The map they have attached is exac

Ticket Factory is the agency I bought tickets from in the Barclaycard pre-sale on Wednesday. Apparently Barclaycard/Unwind used their website for the pre-sale.

After emailing BST, Barclaycard and Ticketfactory on Saturday, I finally received a response from Ticketfactory as follows: Thank you for your email regarding the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park. It may be helpful to explain that The Ticket Factory sells tickets for shows, as one of a number of agents, on behalf of promoters and organisers. The promoter is responsible for all aspects of the co

I wouldn't put too much faith in Barclaycard - their so-called customer services are particularly crap - I know, I have a Barclaycard. I bought 2 tier 2 tickets through their pre-sale, with access to the "Unwind" (which we now know to be utterly useless), so I have e-mailed them about this rip-off. As expected, no reply whatsoever!

Same here can't get past the "select delivery" option - I rang them up, they said website has crashed and nobody can get past the delivery option! They can't sell them over the phone, and when I asked if any of these "Unwind" tickets had been sold, she said "Some, but it's not sold out, despite what it says on the website". Usual cock-up then...

The story goes that Mott and the Stones were both recording at Olympic studios at the same time. Mick came into Olympic 2 when Mott were recording Walking With A Mountain, hence the Jumpin' Jack Flash reference at the end of the song. Apparently he danced around, but didn't sing any backing vocals. Guy Stevens (Mott's manager/producer) told Mick they were going to call the album St

At the website (www.charlieismydarling.com) there is a free song download - click on the shamrock marked 'free song'. Its a rough/rehearsal version of I'd Much Rather Be With The Boys.I've not heard this version before, and I've not seen the film yet - is it from the film?

We were in block 406 row T on the 23rd, "cheap" seats at something like £85 each. A very long way from the stage, could hardly see anything. Couldn't see anything from the video screens because of the way the PA speakers were stacked in front of them. The sound was awful, very boomy and echo-ey, every time Charlie hit his snare, it came bouncing back 2 seconds later, vocals were a

No such thing as a decent nosebleed seat I'm afraid - we were there in 2007, crap view, crap sound - a 2 second echo bouncing around the roof - and you can't even see the video screens!

This is on BBC i-player, so may not be available in all countries... About 18 minutes in, short 10 mins or so by Chris Jagger on a photo shoot for Beggars Banquet in a Derbyshire village. The photos are the ones of the Stones playing cricket in front of a ruined building, one of which ended up being used for More Hot Rocks. Also includes interview with the photographer, Michael Joseph.

I was at the Leicester show on the 14th, which was a Friday, and one of the best concerts I'd ever been to (at the time). So I was a bit peeved to read in the NME the following week that Clapton had got up and played on the following night (Saturday 15th). So, the available tape is of the 14th, Clapton played on the 15th, and, as far as I know, there is no tape circulating of this. Perha
