I'm not going at those prices and probably wouldn't go even at a more reasonable cost.

Each tour has a different name but the set lists don't change that much.

Paying a fortune to see what most of us IORRians have experienced time and time again is beyond me.

No such thing as a decent nosebleed seat I'm afraid - we were there in 2007, crap view, crap sound - a 2 second echo bouncing around the roof - and you can't even see the video screens!

really that bad?? sad smiley i cant afford floor tix this time and i planned to try to get one of the cheap tix...

I didn't think it was bad. I had heard (well, read) nightmare scenarios about how high the O2 cheap seats were, that people got vertigo, etc. but it was absolutely fine. I "won" Led Zep tickets in that infamous lottery and got not-particularly-advantageous seats, but thankfully they really were NOT bad at all: nice view, fine sound. We could see the video screens and there was definitely not a sound reflection.

For the three O2 shows in 2007 I had block 406 first night, A1 second night and 106 third night. The sound was by far the worst on the third night, sound seems really muddy anyway but on the floor seats at ground level. Up in 406 it was actually very good.

We were in block 406 row T on the 23rd, "cheap" seats at something like £85 each. A very long way from the stage, could hardly see anything. Couldn't see anything from the video screens because of the way the PA speakers were stacked in front of them. The sound was awful, very boomy and echo-ey, every time Charlie hit his snare, it came bouncing back 2 seconds later, vocals were a mush. There's no way I would repeat that experience, and spending £800 on 2 tickets I think is somewhat obscene in the current times. I'm hoping they'll do a longer tour next year, I'll leave this one to the corporate sponsors, bankers and celebs.

i was in the nosebleeds for show #1 in 2007 ...never again.
terrible echoey sound, terrible view, vertigo-inducing incline/height.

If they do 'field' shows next summer (Hyde Park etc,) i'm in,
otherwise they'll be getting no more coin from me.

now i have mixed emotions about what you're saying...i went to second night (108) and third night (B3) in 2007 and both great sound... now i would have to go to the upper tier but dont know what to do ...

Hi Adrian, where have you been? good to hear from you.thumbs up

I will try for a cheap ticket, but i know what the chances are going to be, shame really as the second concert falls on my birthday and i have been trying to think of a way of finally celebrating my 50th on which i went down with man flu for a couple of weeks on that actual land mark occaison.

Sadly I can't begin to justify these prices to myself. I'll be hoping for some summer dates next year that are a little less pricy

i saw that too last night, checking prices with the AMEX password...i couldnt believe my eyes, but TOO TRUE! so i wondered the same as you. where will the cheapest tix be? because it's really crazy to get block 415, row R (i think it was what i was offered as 'best available') for that price!

and one of the expensive tix... ticketmaster offered a 108 row V...(not even floor!)

I'm in BK411, K 701 - 703 on the Sunday. I was that shocked that I actually secured 3 tickets that I didn't look at the seating plan.

Anyone got a link to a seating plan?

Wow, a Stones month for you eh!

So now to look up the details on O2, according to Keith it's in the Greenwich area? Hope it's not too hard to get there by rail...

In light of the price of the tix I might save on a hotel night and catch the first train back to Paris in the morning, when are you guys planning to get to London for those who don't live there?

Block 412, really high up (Row J), on Sunday. But what the hell, there were no more "mosh pit" tickets, and I didn't want to push my luck with only tomorrow left, so I pulled the trigger on a 250gbp-ticket. Giddy as a school boy.

Were those on the facebook pre-sale or did you have to buy a vip package to get them? Best I could get after a houndred tries on the amex pre-sale was 110.
