Not that far man. The hotel and stadium are on the Pest side of the river. I believe it's 6 metro stops including a switch to the red line. Roughly 15 minutes.

Hey Todda, For what it's worth, try the Ibis Vaci Ut in the city center. It's not the Ritz, but a nice room in a great location and the subway is right on the corner. I've stayed twice and hope to be there July 20. p.s. 67 Euro for that night!
