I've been using Azureus for OS X for quite a while, and I am quite happy with it... You will need Roxio Toast or something similar to burn DVD's. Also, download yourself a copy of VLC player for mac here to play all the .AVI files out there (the first night Buenos Aires concert is floating around right now in this format...) It's much easier than trying to use those

Wow... the wife and I are going to be down in Ushuaia until right before the show... looks like fun. Any word on who the opening act is yet???

I hate to dis my home turf, but the crowds in Portland in Seattle have been pretty lame (who the f sits down at a STONES show???), especially compared to the 5 or 6 shows I've seen in New York and Boston. That being said, I saw McCartney a few days after the Stones here in Portland, OR, and that was the lamest crowd I've ever seen in my life for any event that wasn't a funeral

I just came across this via a google news search for the Rolling Stones at River Plate. Looks similar, but different (most notably lacking the on-stage seating) from the US stadium stage from 2005 from what I can tell.

In 2004 I ran the Portland (Oregon - USA) marathon, and right around the 17 or 18 mile mark a spectator had a huge dj type speaker set up on the side of the road and was blasting Can't You Hear Me Knockin (studio version). I could hear it (the beginning part) for a good minute or two, and it really got me going again after feeling like I was running out of steam. I gave the dude a huge thu

Personally, I think that Miss You and HTW, when (perhaps not coincidence) the B-Stage is moving back and forth from the main stage, are both lacking in focus. Definately the two show lowpoints for me...

Ariel, Thanks for the advice! I think we are going to go to Bariloche for a few days before the show. Our tickets from rs.com just came in the mail this week.... First row in the stands on the San Martin side. We can't wait! Have a great time. -Bill

If it was Fox news it was probably a story about how the Stones are un-Christian, anti-American terrorist sympathizers.

If you are going to MOMA, buy your tickets online at moma.org the day before you go. The line can be quite long sometimes, and if you print them out you can just walk right in.

I have a question for those from Argentina out there (or who know it). My wife and I are going for a week from the USA, ending our trip with the Stones Show at River Plate (we're way too excited). We would like to go somewhere outside of Buenos Aires for 3 days or so before the concert. We love adventure and the outdoors, and I have looked into flying down to Ushuaia or to Bariloche to s

From Pollstar Stones Have Eclectic Taste In Openers Updated 13:05 PST Thu, Dec 15 2005 The Rolling Stones have invited an interesting mix of rock, country and funk acts to open their 2006 North American tour dates. Canadian rocker Anik Jean will kick off 2006 for the Stones at Bell Centre in Montreal on January 10. The Great White North's pop/rock hitmakers Sloan are on the bill at

I'd love to see them use biodiesel in those 60 trucks... less pollution, produced from renewable resources, not a product of the "neo-con" oil cartels etc. etc.

I must respectfully disagree with you Koen. I think a modern version of Goin Home would be amazing to hear (but probably more suitable for a smaller venue). Just check out how cool Back of My Hand sounds... the boys are all over these slow blues songs.

I gotta wonder if Keith finds the open G tuning fingerings easier to play given that his arthritis has made his digits less nimble than they once were. Of course, it goes without saying that he is still the man, and still rocks!

I saw Paul in Portland 3 nights after the Stones hit town earlier this month and the difference in the quality and energy of two shows were night and day. McCartney's set seemed to consist largely of watered-down, uninspired 3 minute versions of all the oldies but goodies. He put noticably more effort into some of his new songs, but I left the show wishing I had saved my pennies for anothe

I did not use ticketek.com.ar (but I am in the USA). I went to tickets.rollingstones.com and hit the Get Tickets link in the table listing all of the shows. From there I was linked over to a US site called etix.com where you have to enter your presale password as both your username and password.

Hi, I found this for Football seating. It is confusing that there are 3 section "C's" (where my tickets are located). They failed to indicate which side of the stadium they are on.

I just ordered my tickets from RollingStones.com earlier today. Can't wait to see the Stones in BA! It seems like the ticket prices are a lot lower than any of the North American shows, with the highest priced offering converting over to (US Dollar) $95. Nonetheless, River Plate will be rockin!

I can't find the ticket info for this show anywhere (rollingstones.com etc). Where did this information come from? I am planning to visit South America for the first time and catch a show... Will be making the trip from Portland, Oregon, USA. Cheers!
