Amnesia is a very interesting track. I like it. A lot. It does seem to have gone through quite a bit of post production to my ear (the piano notes over the top of the groove, for example) but hey, sounds great. The sax is a nice touch. Excited for the new album. Bring it on!

Wonder if this is a little hint... If I were on the East Coast of the US I'd hit this show for sure.

Does anybody know exactly what the difference is between the regular and the VIP tickets for tonight's show, other than the drink voucher? Thanks!

QuoteRaiseTheKnife They would have to edit out all between songs banter to get org Sticky order! Otherwise: This ones called Dead Flowers - Wild Horses begins. You can revamp the song order by yourself when you burn it! Listened to this three times today. Last time I re-ordered it to the original LP lineup, and man, despite the discongruities with the banter and crowd noise, it's worth pl

I posted this link on another thread on IORR a while ago, but KDTU doing all of Sticky Fingers is really worth a listen. Smoking hot show... Cheers!

I upgraded, and I've got 2 good seats in Section CC, Row 20 on the floor. $700 for the pair (paid $738 or something with fees). I'm in Portland, OR but I can mail / work something out with an escrow service etc if you want them. Email to bahrenburg at gmail dot com if interested. Go Stones! Sold. Thanks for looking.

I'd love to hear something from Paris 1967 or that tour... Love the energy in the cruddy sounding boots I've heard.

I love that recording. Solid. Always wished Keith and Willie could collaborate on something in the studio.

Thanks Kurt. That is helpful. And for what it's worth I was pulling Section DD Row 19, Seats 19 & 20, so I would assume it's 20 across for DD & EE.

Section DD Row 19 showing up for $350 right now on Tickets.com... looks like they are dropping some good seats right now. On a related note, does anybody have any idea which way the seat numbers go on the floor at Comerica? Are they left to right? How many seats across are the sections.

Pulled the trigger on section CC, 20th Row for Detroit through the Amex Platinum deal, after 2 or 3 tries resulting in seats in the grandstand.

Indy Speedway over the 4th almost seems like a direct response to the fiasco in Chicago with the (way oversold / over scalped) Grateful Dead Fare The Well thing at Soldier Field over the same weekend...

Regarding the 50th... "Believe it if you need it, if you don't, just pass it on"... Chicago would be fun I'm sure, but I personally don't like the scent of the "this is the last time we will play together" angle of this. I'm a bit of a dead fan... been to over 50 shows back in the day... but I'm saving my money for the Stones (fingers crossed) in Ju

This is very much worth a listen if you haven't heard it... A pretty good audience recording of Karl Denson's Tiny Universe doing the entire Sticky Fingers. Karl Denson's Tiny Universe Live at Webster Hall on 2012-02-08 And obviously, healing vibes to Mr. Keys...

This is a really great question since open G tuning is one of the most popular banjo tunings out there.

I think that UMT is one of the Stones tunes that has suffered the most following Wyman's departure. He added a little swing and sway to that tune that makes all other versions sound a little rigid to me. The Chicago version in this video has some nice guitar work, and certainly beats out the BB versions I heard, but they all sound a little choppy to my ear.

I remember staying up way late (US West coast) listening to the BBC stream when Doom and Gloom dropped... the DJ played it 2x in a row, which was awesome. Few things are better than sinking your teeth into a new stones track. Hope I get to sip from that bottle again.

When I saw Springsteen last November in Portland it was all "ticketless tickets" for the good seats. Basically they had people in the lower bowl head to the regular entrances of the arena, where they had a handheld little gizmo that scanned your credit card. The ticket-taker then took a peek at your ID and printed out white pater receipts that had your seat information on it, which they

I've taken my kids, ages 3 and 6, to plenty of GA summer concerts, albeit ones quite a bit smaller than Hyde Park. We have fun, but there is an expectation that the kids come before the music, and sometimes you have to make sacrifices. Even at 5, and even if they love hearing Rolling Stones songs, I doubt that a 2+ hour performance would hold their attention. And you just know that they will

Just saw Bruce last week here in Portland, OR. Amazing show. Played over 3 hours, and about half the songs he played were audience requests. His energy level is amazing... Must see, and the Big Man's nephew did a fantastic job filling those shoes.
