78 was a great year for live stones. Funny, we complain about the boring setlist now but then it was the sam just about every night and was only 90 minutes!!! I think 78 was the last year when we had great live stones music. 81-82 changes things and SW just sucked. No security was great but by then we had the Stones revue and micks voice, while still unique, is sounding like an old man. Keit

I was a little disappointed with Ronnie's Far East Man dvd. He had his unlce or cousin singing on a couple of cuts, I like Ronnie's voice he should have sung more. Not quite sure what Slash was doing there for almost the whole show.

I agree about the 70's lps, 1234 was pretty good, didn't care for the one he did with Bernard Fowler. NOt for beginners is worth checking out, I think it's great, with a nice relaxed groove and a killer cover so you wanna be a rnr *

One of my early favourites, that and I'm Free, wish they did it again. I used to have a live version from Hyde Park.

Great album, one of my faves. I think it's criminally overlooked, why do they only play Undercover when there are so many great songs on there? I would love to hear She was Hot, Tie You Up or Pretty Beat Up live. Too bad they didn't tour in 84, we could have gotten some of these songs. In the video for Undercover of the Night they are shown performing, does anyone know if that was j

Quit shelling out cash and download on bit torrent all the stones, all the bum notes and false starts. Listen how awful they sound in Japan when they can't even start JJF at the same time. Listen to the old men and their cash machines.

Maybe if people stopped paying ridiculous prices for the shows the Stones would stop being a brand and start being a band. Imagine a few empty seats, or a half full stadium. It doesn't matter how many times they play if they play the same old songs the same old way. They have a million songs in their belt, why the same old ones over and over again. They have come to the NYC area so many

I am totally surprised with how these outtakes sound. Steel wheels was my least favorite Stones album, even behind Dirty Work! These outtakes shed a whole new light on that period. Now, what the HELL HAPPENED!!!! They wrote good songs, recorded them, and then they got @#$%& up. I saw the Stones twice on the SW tour and I thought they were lousy. Both times at Shea stadium. I've listen

would it be possible for some kind soul to re post Hurricane. I just missed the usendit expiration. I gave a lot of money to the Salvation Army the day after Katrina and to my surprise WALMART had already given 1 million dollars! I generally trust the Salvation Army over the Red Cross, no political connections, and besides they helped me out when I was down so I do anything I can for them.

Don't you mean: "Is this tour a joke"??? And just to answer it: No, it's not. You are. Quit taking yourself so seriously and lightenup, Life is to short..This is the funniest thread, and mostly because of your reply. I bet Kieth and Ronnie are having a good laugh at this.
