just checked out Blondie's website - he even started a journal :-) it's pretty hard to read because of the site design but he said he's been practicing with Keith and learning things about fado music - that was at the end of june anyway - no entries after that. I like his music - it's something that could really grow on you i think.

i think this list depends a lot on your age ? there are some bands listed here that could seem like the most awful bands ever, but if you had their first 1 or 2 albums, you might have a little mercy on them ... a couple that come to mind - queen and the eagles - their first couple albums were really good IMO - then they decided to "sell out" at some point, like a lot of bands in the da

well - can't honestly say i remember much from it - since the stadiums used to sell out (at least the good seats) so fast back then, i just remember sitting in the back of the stadium drinking beer in nosebleed country - no giant screens yet - i still remember thinkin that the stones were absolutely the best band in the world though :-)

how weird, i saw the stones (for the first time) in syracuse in November 1981 - and according to the back of my t-shirt, the tour went from Houston Oct 28 to Largo Dec 8 ... ha ha, guess they didn't have room to list the whole tour there... And it's got "SOLD OUT" stamped across the back too, those were the days eh ;-)

hmmm, i think it would be a mistake to divide this place by OT / not OT ... who's to say sometimes which is which ... i think it would be too artificial and would stifle the blabbing ! :-) for me it seems to work fine by just stating "OT" if you want to talk about football or whatever with other STONES FANS (which is why we're all here) ... those who are not interested can

nikolai, thanks! for the info, i've always liked the stones singing just my 'magination too - i think it takes a certain amount of bravery to cover classic motown hits, and the stones sure know how to interpret them ... i guess their only motown cover that i've never liked much is "ain't too proud to beg" - for me it's a little too punked up and it ain't
