well - i was a fan of both (briefly an Eagles fan at least though their first two albums, before they sucked, ha ha and it's funny, i never even thought to compare the Eagles with CSN (Y). I guess the fine vocal harmonies are the most obvious thing...other than that...dunno, they were just two completely different attitudes IMHO...
