I am interested to hear everyone's thoughts on his legacy. Personally, he is one of the 10 most influential people in my life. I also feel that his music and his actions were more important to society than the Beatles.

Agreed - the best rock and roll song every recorded - Rod and Ronnie were awesome together. I can only hope that they both live long enough to complete the album they started a few years back and tour together.............

78 Sucked thats why the called the one album Sucking in the 70's LOL I saw them in Cleveland and as many have noted in the past - it was a very dark day, tough crowd and no energy by the band. Just take a look at the picks in this list and then look at the 75 pics - clearly 75 kicked ass. Thought 81 at the Cleveland colosium was awesome! But then a few nights ago in Baltimore blew them a

Arts/Life > entertainment news Rolling Stones rock Baltimore 36 years after last show here, time is is still on their side By Chris Kaltenbach Sun Reporter Originally published February 2, 2006, 6:24 AM EST Thirty-six years have passed since The Rolling Stones last played Baltimore, but Mick, Keith and the boys made time seem utterly irrelevant Wednesday night with a relentless, classi

I just returned to VA from Baltimore so this may not make sense. The Baltimore show simply blew my mind - having now been going to multiple Stones shows each tour since 78 - nothing comes close tonight. The Rolling Stones were a band tonight - not just individual entertainers and they jammed like a band. The set list was awesome - songs complemented one another and flowed perfectly.

They belong together Ron and Rod. Like Mick and keith or John an Paul or Robert and Jimmy. He should have never joined the Stones and prevented Rod Stewart from doing solo stuff without him. I second, third and however many it takes dude - Rod and Ronnie were the bomb, best singer and guitarist ever! did you hear me lol ever! I say we start a campaign to bring back together

I agree with all the above, but as a huge fan of Rod's I must come to his defense. Yes, he no longer writes songs and yes the Song Book series is tired. However, I saw him on the last tour maybe my 15th time and I must say he still is the only other performer that can send an audience into a frenzy similar to the stones. Unfortunately, this only happens on a few songs ie, Stay with Me, Maggi

Thats a fairly irrelevant question - I mean who else releases rock and roll like the Stones; the only other band that even had a similar vibe was the Faces. I would be a huge fan of a band if they played music like the Rolling Stones. How about another hypothetical - If ABB was released in 1977 before SG - would it be a good album? I would think it would have been praised.

Not sure if it is b-side but saw it is getting mutliple spins on Media base rock charts today. Also, did a search of Rain Fall Down and found it climbing charts in Mexico and Europe.

It appears that maybe the flip side of RFD will be ONNYA - R&R/Radio and Records chart has it going for an add on the rock charts this week. I hope this holds true - it should do well on the rock stations!

It's 5:00 eastern time and the DC classic rock radio station 94.7 kicked the hour off with SOL - looks like its getting a big push! This is probably the third time this week I've heard on this station.
