it is a compilation of virtually every video done by the Stones through the mid 90s. Goes back to the days of "promo clips" whoch the stones did for Jumping Jack Flash, Child of the Moon, Have You seen your mother baby.... It has about 4 hours of stuff on it. i assume Hot Rocks was just a name chosen by whoever put it together to start with. it was the smartest posting i ever

I hear there is a good version of the 11/12/81 MSG show in circulation (I hope i have the date right, it was the first of the two MSG shows that year). Anyone have it? I am not yet savvy enough to deal with FLACs, torrents, bits or whatever, but if anyone is willing to send it if i provide a blank, or trade for something I have I'd be willing to do that. It was my first Stones show, so I

Does anyone know if the Stones have any plans to rehearse at all before the next leg of the tour, or are guaranteed to get the same set lists this time around?

the strings on his guitar completed a circuit and and the power went thru his guitar and got him. I remeber reading that the souls on his hush puppies grounded him and saved his life. As I have posted here bfore, i can't imagine Keith as a hush puppy wearer, but maybe they were "cool" back then!

bought it after posting a query here about the existence of such a compilation. i got a response givng me a search to type into EBAY and it turned up, as promised, and i snatched it up. I think it is awesome nd well worth what i paid for it (about 22 bucks) if you are paying more than that buy it off the guy who sells it on ebay. if you can't find it, search here for a thread with

funny thing...if i saw Bruce, i would want to hear his greatest hits becasue i am not a huge fan and therefore would not know most of the other songs. So there it is. That's why the Stones play what they do. Sometimes we need to remember that there are a few people out there who are not fanatics about the Stones like we are.

i agree on the Licks tour i sat side stage in the 100s at MSg and could almost reach out and grab lisa's butt and had no (other) obstructions, but this seat is side stage and HI up--300s, so i wonder if that makes a difference.

I have a chance to get a ticket to the Boston show but it is upstairs (section 320) and at best a side view, but possibly behind the stage. Anyone have any experience with this view? Is it worth it or is it too limited a view?

F.U.C. When the Stones played Roseland they did Stray cat Blues (as i am sure they did at a bunch of other shows that year) and as soon as they started it i was wondering how Mick would handle that line. He decided to up the age to 19--still a bit of an age gap between 19 and 60, but at least legal.

what's wrong with making money?? they are touring for both--money and music. I wish i could spend less on tickets. After MSG in January i will have spent $500 on three shows. Last tour I spent $400 on four shows (but won tickets once so that knocked down the average). We keep buying the tickets, so i guess they are worth it, right? FOr the few on here who say they are thru, there see
