You mean that heavily patterned garment, I take it? That was a jacket, and Keith took it off at some point during the show, as Stones tend to do with jackets. There are miles of photos from the Benefit of him wearing that silky shirt. A couple of examples: - Nicaragua Benefit, January 18th 1973 by Neal Preston - Nicaragua Benefit, January 18th 1973 by Lynn Goldsmith

Quoterbk He interviewed Ronnie, Bobby Keys and Ian McLagen for the book. Mclagen the same day he died in Minneapolis. Puzzling: Did Ian McLagan die in Minneapolis? Not in Austin?

I believe that's the Nicaragua Benefit, not Honolulu. In Honolulu Keith wore a striped shirt at one show, a dotted shirt for another show, and the show where he was wearing that white shirt he had on dark trousers. There were a bunch of photographers there, of course - I don't know if Ken Regan was one of them.

QuoteJumpinJimF QuoteTitle5Take1 It's great, and Leavell's playing makes me wonder if he was consciously thinking of Ian Stewart. Erratum: The lyrics above are not to Magic Sam's "All of Your Love," but to Buddy Guy's "All Your Love." (The Stones sound to angsty for the lyrics above!) Good spot. Surely this? http://lyrics.wikia.com/wiki/Magic_Sam:All_

I saw it in London, spent four hours there and felt a second trip would have been quite satisfying. There's a lot to listen to, not just to look at and read, and you can't hurry listening (well, you can, but why would you??)

Whether or not anyone was misled by it, it's still misleading. And unnecessary. "Contains the same CD released last year" would have been way more amusing, as well as true :E

Quotegoinhome ... I was curious what the reasoning was behind the "no photographs" signs / policy in the "backstage" area as you waited for the 3D live performance at the end of the exhibit. I'm not a photographing type of sssoul, but if I'm not mistaken the "no photographs" policy applies to the entire exhibition. It's just not especially strenuo

QuoteHis Majesty The Beatles copied the Stones by using Epiphone Casinos. Also by recording at Olympic Studios, using Glyn Johns, achieving guitar distortion via unconventional means, etc etc. #postilikeabeatlesdickhead :E :E :E

QuoteHis Majesty This fan-fookin-tastic photo is taken from rehearsals at Londonderry hotel a day or so before the filming of the Rock and Roll Circus. Well, I'm glad I said it was definitely Olympic Studios :E I see Getty has a different location than the Londonderry hotel, so I'm not the only one :E

One didn't need to be a fan to recognize that he was talented. A lot of the artists who died this year were that caliber. Love and light to all of them, and thanks and praises

QuoteRockingLonestar Sorry, this picture is definitely from the 1973 European Tour during which Keith used it for Midnight Rambler. I remember pictures from late 1973 from Musicland Studios in Munich on which MJ played the guitar. Right - if you read a few posts further from the original erroneous guess that it might be 1970 (or whatever) several people chimed in to say it's from 1973.

Here's where the Stones stayed in Warsaw in 1967: As you see if you read the history, it's closed right now, but by October you'll be able to at least visit the cafe. Have fun! Here they are holding a press conference, surrounded by Warsaw's hippest: - Hotel Europejski, Warsaw, April 13th 1967 (don't know who took it - sorry!)

... and while we're at it: I saw Exhibitionism in London, and the information accompanying the Edith Grove mock-up stated that you, Mick and Brian shared the bedroom while Keith slept in the sitting room. That's wrong, isn't it! I sure hope they've corrected it by now, but since they're more likely to believe you than me, maybe you could contact the curator? It ma
