Thank you thank you - but can anyone upload them to We Transfer or some other site not requiring log-in? I will be patient and grateful, both to the max! xox

The pile on that mirror was probably talcum powder - certainly nothing special. It's distressing to think too much about how our best-loved musicians are surrounded by creeps, and that for the Stones that's been their entire adult lives. All kinds of joy and blessings and well-being on all the Stones, for good.

My friend and I had a blast and let the whole audience know it too! My impression was that they used that same gimmicky sound thing that Scorsese did in Shine a Light, where the instrument/voice on screen at any given moment gets louder for no reason at all. The introductory interview was hilarious - three Stones looking bored silly while Mick answered all the questions and then Keith an

Keith is a very gifted singer, which is often overlooked because he makes it seem as natural as breathing. That duet with Nora is a good example - what he's doing is wonderful. My blessings bless him :E

Keith was unconscious (asleep or passed out, whichever suits your imagination) and the shot was set up for the amusement of others in the room.

And we all know (right?) that Keith and Norah duet beautifully again on CrossEyed Heart. He also took the male role on Ronnie Spector's rendition of Work Out Fine (on her Last of the Rock Stars LP)

Blues in the Morning is among my very favourites - listen to the roll! Torn at the edges but really really loose inside :E

Lover's Plea is one that's grown on me a lot. But the thing is that every track gets in my head and doesn't want to leave. Keith knows what he's doing

QuoteDandelionPowderman I believe Keith took a good sip of whiskey prior to that line No doubt, but he'd been doing that on camera as well, so why would it suddenly elicit such a response? I have no choice but to think he did something ruder than that - and I've had years to speculate dreamily about it :E

QuoteVoodookitten76 At Indy in 2015, Mick did a bit of "Come on in My Kitchen" during the middle of a song--can't remember which-- but it was very cool! Keith seemed to approve. It was Midnight Rambler, and the guitars played it first - Mick responded. Very cool indeed. And yes, at Hampton it's "rude rude rude, I wish I were nude". Keith was doing something

QuoteDandelionPowderman I'm baffled by people who see this as a negative thing. How can it be? Artists supporting a global campaign aimed at raising funds for the refugee crisis and victims of religious and political violence seems to me a very fine and upstanding thing indeed. The series of photos doesn't impress me, though. It's too easy to see it as lem motlow describes, an

I think that journalist was confused, 24FPS. I mean: There are such tax situations, allowing one to spend only X days per year before taxes apply, but it applies to all the Stones, not just Mick and Charlie, and I'm pretty sure the Wattses were UK residents at the time.

QuoteCristiano Radtke It looks like "The Girl Can't Help It" is one of Keith's choices for his "Lost Weekend" at BBC4 LoFL - that's hilarious! There's some mighty fine rock & roll in that movie, of course, and it's so insane otherwise. Who was it who called it Busby Berkeley's approach to rock & roll?

Come On Give it to someone who really needs it, but not in the name of a non existent god, just because it's a nice thing to do. Dang it...how about a ten? I'll match that! HM, come on

I thought I recalled Bernard singing, but that must have been some other event. Here's what Blue Lena has about the wedding: From the Chicago Sun Times, Monday August 24th, Bill Zwecker's column: Wedding Could Have Been Taxing for Two Stones "Seems the taxman was the culprit who kept Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts from fellow Rolling Stones band member Keith Richards'

Quotedcba Quotewith sssoul Mick has said Shattered is pretty much all Keith's, words included. That's not what I read (some time ago). Keith said he had the opening riff and the word "Shattered" and the lyrics and chords progression were Mick's. To me this song has a Mick imprint all over it. Anyway... That's more like Keith's song. I wrote lyrics.

Quotedcba Same with "Shattered" / Keith had the title and the opening riff. Then he called his songwriting butler to wrap the song... "Hey Mick will you please finish this one for me?" Mick has said Shattered is pretty much all Keith's, words included.

QuoteAlmostHearYouSigh I read a long time ago - probably in Rolling Stone he wrote it about Anita ... something like "Angie "I need ya (sounds like Anita)" That "Angie = Anita I need you" is one of Nick Kent's multitude of misquotes, misunderstandings and miserable fails. There is of course a Keith song with a play on words along those lines, but NK got the wro

He did write the music and the title phrase, for his daughter Dandelion Angela. I don't recall him ever claiming the rest of the lyrics, though.
