The Sat1 Music Special is always a concert without any intermissions in between like interviews, other footage. Plain concert. So I'm really excited :-)

georgelicks, do you know how many copies ABB sold approx. in the UK to date? Do you also have German sales figures by now?

I love it that the Stones make the warhorses sound different with each concert. As someone already said that's what makes them so unique and it never gets boring to see them play live. And that's exactely the problem I have! He doesn't change those sloppy party anymore that I mentioned above. He always messes with them over and over again. I found that very annoying with the time

Yep, Sway was a disaster. Absolutely unlistenable. I dunno about Rocks Off. Maybe he changed it consciously? I would never bash Mick for not remembering lyrics. This is absolutely ok and can happen anytime. Especially when you think about the huge song catalogue the Stones have. I just complain about certain lines he messes up over and over again either with a strange pronounciation or by c

T&A, you mean at opening night? I didn't talk about forgetting lyrics. I just said that WHAT he indeed sings is pretty flawless at opening nights, although it appears to be very careful at times. But this is more due to the band trying to find the right pace and adjustment.

The promotion was just pitiful. If it had been done seriously ABB would have sold significantly more units. But this chance is now gone. It is always said that the Stones have become some kind of big machinery, a huge corporate group. Too bad I don't see anything of this huge "apparatus" if need be. No matter if the Stones are a very old act, when they release a new studio album a

lol, maybe I'm indeed under-worked. Don't you guys have certain Mick parts, especially among the warhorses, that have always been a pain in your ass? Can't imagine that as most of you are longtime fans with a catalogue of dozens or hundreds of boots at home. :-)

Hey there, I have to get this off my chest, because this is driving me nuts for years. Maybe I just have a bit too much spare time, but I seriously hope Mick or anyone from his website-checking staff reads this. I listened to so many boots over the past weeks and always came across the same disturbing things. I think Mick is a phenomen when it comes to singing live, but there are songs he con

...I must admit that Dirty Work is a f*uckin' great tune!! One Hit To The Body also rocks pretty good. But for me these are pretty much all the highlights from this album... Sometimes "Too Rude" can be nice listening to, but I have to be in the mood for it.

Nice setlist...you both are right. Gimme Shelter has to get its spot and also SFM should be included, at least from time to time. 2000 Light Years From Home was so awesome in 89/90. If they can perform it again like this it would be killer. Also a tune for cool light effects!

Yes, I think Holland has an amazing audience, but my vote goes to the Spanish fans. As far as I can judge it on videos I always felt like they were more enthusiastic and more into the MUSIC as such. Argentinian fans of course are very wild, but I always thought their behaviour in a stadium is something they do with everyone and is nothing too Stones related. They simply enjoy partying all togethe

I was just thinking about a nice setlist which could have a realistic chance to be played live. 1.Start Me Up 2.You Got Me Rocking 3.She's So Cold 4.It Won't Take Long 5.Ruby Tuesday 6.Out Of Control 7.It's All Over Now 8.She's A Rainbow 9.Monkey Man/Wild Horses 10.Tumbling Dice --- 11.You Got The Silver 12.This Place Is Empty --- 13.Miss You (to B-Stage) 14

I suggest Keith should either play two short songs, like You Got The Silver and The Worst or play just one song no matter how long it is. And please Keith, Infamy is cacophony. It sound so out of tune.

@georgelicks I still don't understand where this 150.000 sold units figure came from? As far as I followed the ongoing count it looks more like 80.000....which is disastrous compared to the ticket sales. If I was a Stone I wouldn't care about making a new album anymore. Why all the fuss for this lack of public support? I wouldn't even bother to go on tour again just to satisf
