Charlie is very good on Sweet Neocon as on the entire BB- album. Actually better than he's been since the early 70's with even more distinct touch, due to better production and recording - equipment. My opinion anyway.

The main solo is definetly Keith-style, but as said, there are layers of other guitars which is Taylor.

I use "Cool Edit Pro". This program features hiss and crack reduction, amplifying and equalizing etc. Remember that you need a RIAA amplifier. (or you can use your stereo amplifier if it has got a phono insert. Use the rec out to your sound card.) There's also a software called "Wavepad" from NCH which have much the same features both can be downloaded. Another possibili

They use sampling, not play back. Especially on the 94/95 tour with SFTD beeing the tune with most samples. All the percussion and even the kickdrum on that was sampled. I remember beeing disappointed then, but they haven't used the samples so much on that songs after that. Maybe that was the cause of the play back story?

Just came home from Oslo, and the show on wednesday was absolutely great! Keith was in good form and rocked all night long! His solos weren't always good, but that was not because of alcohol or any kind of other substances. Just that his fingers can't follow his head anymore. Best version of JJJ I've heard in a long time! The rest of the set I guess you've already read enou

I wonder if the whole show was filmed, or just the few seconds we got to see on danish tv? Looked like it was an excerpt from much more material...

Keith has never been sober on stage, I guess. Apart from a few misshaps here and there, he's great, and always will be as long as he's up there! When you have had a career like Keith, it would have been very strange if he didn't go overboard with alcohol or drugs or whatever at a few occassions. Keith is the MAN!

I think Ronnie has got the recognition he deserves. Earlier he has been more of a second guitarplayer and been lower in the mix, but now he's up where he belongs!

Noticed that he know sings JU JU you make a grown man cry. Before, he used to sing YO YO you make a grown man cry. I prefer the YO. Maybe he does it to keep the songs fresh in a way? To make it more interesting to himself?

Is the Giant Stadium show the one with the "devil-face cover"? Agree with all of you saying the sound quality is poor on the Voodoo Lounge PPV-broadcast. But still...Have to have it!
