Recently, I read something about two rumoured shows (02 World) in Berlin in October 2013. Does anyone have more information about Berlin or a planned European leg of the tour?

Just curious...couldn't find anything about a five song choice for Anaheim...

Well, why not? I couldn't believe it when I read Tom @#$%& Waits either

I totally agree. They haven't been that good since the 2002 Licks shows.

Honestly, I think even Justin Timberlake was a nice surprise and he made Miss You sound fresh. I could do without Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani and Keith Urban, but Tom Waits and John Fogerty are simply great and so were their guest appearances. Florence Welch gave Gimme Shelter a wild Patti Smith touch and I even liked Let It Bleed with Dave Matthews back in 2006. Hope they will have Eddie Vedder (Wai

Peter Wolf would be a great choice for both Boston shows. Such a great singer and performer. He could sing nearly everything with Mick. "Nothing But The Wheel" is one of the greatest duets I know.

QuoteCarlG They protest many shows in the Bay Area for years. I couldn't believe they protested U2 and Peter Gabriel. So sad there is so much hatred and stupidity. Well said.

I don't think telling people they're gonna die and go to hell for their sins is protected by the freedom of speech. I'm sure that if he was a member of a muslim sect, the OPD would have shown up immediately.

Well if such guys appear in front of concert venues in the Bay Area I don't wanna know what happens in Omaha or Cheyenne In Germany this guy would be most likely arrested for hate speech. Can't understand that people walk by without reactions. What a lunatic!

IMHO anybody can complain about anything. But that doesn't mean everyone else has to agree. Some people seem to have absolutely unrealistic expectations about the Stones and the way they should perform. And it's true: One year ago I expected them to do some 18-song-warhorse-only-setlists with trainwreck performances in a kind of Licks/ Bigger Bang part XXII. I was really surprised and e

I think this is by far the best guest appearance on a Stones show since Bo Diddley in 1994 or Solomon Burke in 2002. No Expectations would also have sounded great with Waits. Hope they keep on bringing up real musicians and no more crappy celebrity rockers like Keith "Shopping Radio" Urban...Gary Clarke Jr. was a good choice, too.

QuoteGRNRBITW QuoteHanns Rainsch Judging from the stuff I listened to, the playing on the 2012/13 tour is much better than on the final Bigger Bang shows. Most of the songs, even the warhorses, sound fresh again (just listen to Brown Sugar from the Echoplex). They added some nice songs to the setlist, had great guests (Tom Waits!!!, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Florence Welch) and played 23 s

Honestly, Tom Waits is the only other artist in the world I would pay hundreds of bucks to see him. Even more than for the Stones because he appears quite rarely. His last tour in 2008 had less than 20 dates in theatres.

QuoteGreen Lady HAPPY - much as I love Happy, I wish Keith's set hadn't become a fixed part of the warhorse parade. Totally agree. He should do at least one ballad. Slipping Away. Thru and Thru. All About You, maybe a good cover like We Had It All

Emotional Rescue is a true gem. Hope they bring back She Was Hot, too. Killer song. Worked much better than Sway.

Quotekharrison Most likely Taylor with one song again. What a shame. Honestly, I never got the whole Taylor thing. I always found his playing rather aseptic and too technically focused. IMHO Midnight Rambler from Roseland 2002 sounds much better than any of the recent renditions.

This is a dream coming true. One of the few artist of his generation who still releases perfect new material and also one of the very few in the business who never sold out. Waits would never advertise a Mercedes car or something. Just two days after the crappy guests at Staples...

What a horrible disaster. To me, it seems that there is no proper solution. Here in Germany, where gunlaws are enforced much harder, we also have experienced horrible (highschool) massacres. No one can control people inside. Mental illness and sheer madness was an issue throughout the history of mankind.

Honestly, I never cared for Mick Taylor. He is not part of the band. I actually think his style is not that great and I would prefer a 2012 Rambler rendition without him.
