QuoteStoneage Love is Strong. Stones, maybe, last attempt to sound contemporary. Probably a Mick song. I know that many likes this song. I'm not one of those. It's all Keith. Evolved from Wicked As It Seems. You hear it clearly in early takes.

The Russian artwork seems to have a female body inside those jeans. And Red Army belt buckle. :-)

Just found a Russian pressing of Sticky Fingers. From 1992 and with their own jeans cover. That lead me to check what other Stones albums the Russians have released on vinyl. Aside from a couple of 60’s compilations it seems only Let it bleed (1992) and IORR (1993) were made. Good choises, but strange that Exile and Goats were skipped.

Finally got the Deluxe set for myself as a Christmas present. What a treat! Now that I've gotten used to No Filter-era Stones as a standard of how the band sounds, it blew me away how tight the band was in 1995. So happy to see Keith playing in top form. Watched the Paradiso yesterday (what a smokin' ADTL version!), today Paris and tomorrow Brixton. Great great stuff.

So friggin' relieved to hear Keith's back. Brown Sugar's intro was spot on and the tempo's right. Ride on, Keef!

Quotejohn lomax Quoteschwonek Quotenankerzrk Quoteschwonek Short review. THIS WAS AMAZING. What a great setlist - never complain again! So many auprises and really a lot of energy from Ron and Mick. Keith seemed distracted but the sound was overwheling. And the screens are jus aweseome! -> what happened to Keiths pants? Bump... Anyone notice Keith's pants when he went up to do his sp

QuoteTheBlockbuster Quoterunaway I just listened to a very raw Gimme Shelter "Desert Trip" , on YT, and it sounds great to me. There were many song from this concert which sounded great but Gimme Shelter was not one of them. It was way to wobbly and ragged without any power or energy. Honestly I haven't heard a great Gimme Shelter since 2003. It's great in Havana Moon.

I don't understand why they keep SFTD in the setlist because obviously it's not aging that well. It does not do the Stones justice. They could easily replace it an easier number like Street Fighting Man.

Mick Jagger and the Blue Devils. It's out there if you hunt around- I have it as the CD, The Nature of My Game. Good, raunchy blues. Well, almost. It was with the RED Devils. And a very good one indeed. It's a shame Mick didn't release it officially. This new Stones blues track sound pretty good, but the album cover looks like a compilation. Another 40 Licks or something..

Saw it yesterday. It was better than I expected. Nice details of the band changing clothes and guitars behind the curtain, taking contact with each other on stage and obviously enjoying the show still after all these years. I'm glad Miss You was dropped from the film, but All down the line would've been a nice add as well as Before they make me run. Sacha did tremendeous job with Gimm
