Life will not get back to "normal" until a vaccine is produced.

Sooner or later the Stones will have to call it quits (given their ages). The Coronavirus pandemic may well be the catalyst for this call. Cannot see any touring in 2020 and believe the tour will eventually be cancelled. Even if Coronavirus is under control in 2021 (which I doubt) world economies will likely be in recession and not conducive to selling out large scale concerts like the Stones.

All churches in Australia were ordered to close by the Federal Government last Monday. The USA would be wise to do the same thing. Things seem to be getting out of control in the USA and it is alarming to read the above stories relating to it.

A bit sad that they are having so much difficulty getting a new album together. Must be causing Mick a load of grief. Perhaps it really is past them.

QuoteErik_Snow ...and after that, there will be some quarrels, that'll lead to another X-pensive Winos tour, while Jagger's making movies and do shows in the far east. And just when everybody thought it was over; Rolling Stones make a comeback in 2028, topping the hitlists and touring worldwide - the press can't praise them enough, and who could've guessed they'd bring b

Hope they're moving on to liberate further towns along the coast or do you think Mick will satisfied with Port Fairy's sales?

Decent sales figures from Mick and not too bad for Keith either. But where is the market for Mick's stuff now?

Can't imagine there would be much of a market for Mick's solo albums. I guess the royalty cheques might pay for a night out on the town once a year.

If you have an issue with that, why are you here? Expressing an opinion on a forum - do you have an issue? No issue with it but just seems bizarre to hang out in a place where you don't seem to have anything but a negative intere

QuoteSpud Quoterbp They really should stop touring for a year and get into a studio as a group and finish the album. I am sure the world can do without the Stones touring for 12 months - they have been at it since 2012. I'm not sure they could easily stop touring for a whole year now ... it's probably now a case of "use it or lose it" Use it in the studio as opposed to on

Quotedoitywoik Crosseyed Heart has a vibe to it that would also suit the Stones well. (I think I said this already somewhere round this thread before? But so what ...). I also like the non-brickwalled sound. - Actually, there should be several new albums: a Mick-style modern(ist) album, a Keith-style album, a Ronnie-style album (yes, Ronnie too! The real fun-part would be a Charlie-style new albu

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quoterbp There is a reason for essentially the same setlist at every gig and his name is Keith. Why? Didn't he push Mick to do Mercy Mercy and others? I believe they play it safe for Keith's sake. He is no longer the guitar player that he once was and his ability to adapt to major setlist changes between gigs would be problematic for him. He copes with 1 or
