QuoteJumpinJeppeFlash Quote71Tele QuoteThrylan Better than MT blasting through it pushing the "roll" right out of it. No it isn't. Oversoloing to death, my god just look at dead flowers at marquee, the only thing he does is playing endless solos, horrible. not to mention he completely ruins SFM on Brussles, ridiculous overplaying.

QuoteTheBlockbuster QuoteRobertJohnson With exception of Mick Taylor there is no genius in music in the band, but all of them contribute to this unique Stones sound you can't never find otherwise. And thus that holds for Charlie Watts, too. Insofar he is a unique and singular drummer. I would not call Taylor a musical genius. He simply lacked the talent to know what not to play, which live

Quotebuffalo7478 People love or bash prog rock...I see both sides, but whatever side you are on it was easy to appreciate his talent. He made the bass a lead instrument and pushed boundaries for players. Squire, Entwistle where very different players, but my two favs. Yeah exactly, I don't really like Yes and prog rock in general but still appreciated Chris Squire's bass playing.

This is why you don't hear from Mick Taylor - he can't say anything. He can't comment on the tour without prior consent or if he does it has to be positive. Do you think Brenda would allow otherwise? JJF, I remeber I was about 8 or 9 and my dad brought home an album and the cover didn't have any corners on it which I thought was odd but kind of intriguing. So I asked him to play it when JJF came on, it was BAM! never looked back even after 40+ years.

Quotestones2000 I just got this album off eBay, and it arrived yesterday. Man it's good! I mean, all their albums are really good, but this album truly has some really great songs on it. IORR, Luxury, Time Waits For No one, etc. I just think it's so good. Really underrated, I think. What do you all think? I think on this board it is vastly overrated. Other than the title track nothin

It has nothing to do with what's "fair", any more than pricing a BMW does. Don't think you're getting value for the money? Don't buy a ticket. That is what I have c

Quotegotdablouse QuoteNaturalust Well since you ask, the big shots near San Diego are obviously LA, the best way to promote a re-release is at least one show, the timing probably corresponding closely to the anniversary of the April 21, 1971 original release day. Just noticing the the LA Forum and Hollywood Bowl are free that whole week..... peace And adding insult to injury they've

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteKet He seems to have very little appreciation of most music that came after The Stones started, he has been dismissive of The Who,Zeppelin,Bowie .. Im not sure why this is? Not one of his better traits! When was he dismissive of the Who? He loves AC/DC, btw. Powerage is his favourite album. I'm sure I have read that he can't stand Dalteys voice , yes

QuoteNate I have only seen the Stones in outdoor venues Hyde Park twice in 2013 and Paris,Rome and Madrid last year.I have seen other concerts indoors but to me when the sun is shining and it is hot then there is no better place to be than outside at a big gig and I also think that some songs need to be played when the sun goes down and night falls to me it's all part of the show.
