I missed his gigs in the early eighties, but yesterday was lucky to see him in Holland in a small club - 750 people. Amazing gig. Michael was in great great shape - good band with the original/first singer Gary Burdon and Michael acted very active with the enthousiastic audience. Lucky I have seen him at least once in my live. Michael Schenker. Go and see him if you get the chance.

Skipstone: haha what a funny 'truth' you mention about Oasis. Do you think the Stones rock - 'are classless with class' with all the background singers, with Chuck and his plunky plunky piano, with Ronnie and Keith their amateur sometimes embarassing playing these days? Saw them at Paris and was not that impressed. Band seemed not close (mentally) to the audience, the Edge was not so loud in the mix and too many political intereruptions And maybe the fact that I had only slept 3 hrs as I saw Lucinda Williams the night before in Holland was related too. But last Friday in London the band was great. A record breaking audience of 88,000 pcs. for the stadium. G

Farawayeyes2 : I don't agree with you that Keith was technicall y better during the first 90-tours than say during the 78 tour. It was a different way of playing for sure but from VL on I strongly felt also technically Keith was getting worse and worse. He was also not good during the NS tour.

But since the 89 tour it become less and less. And more posing and posing. But that does not cover up the sad truth and that is that Keith is these days almost laughable to see on stage.
