since the band began to play to the lighting cues and did not have KR driving the band I have heard very little on the real engine of the band. I suspect KR cannot hit it like that anymore....I also can hear a major drop off in Charlie's playing versus the innovative stuff he did on Some Girls and Emotional Rescue....Mick's voice is still strong, Ronnie okay but hardly his mid seventies

73-74 I think my folks bought seats for the whole crew..Celtic (HATEHATE) beat the Bucks that year if I recall. I love this tune and the whole band interplay is simply flawless..Great sounds great performance of cool material. on a side note, I read somewhere that Jimmy Page (yes that guy) said the the version of DLS at El Mocambo is the best rock and roll song ever. It is hard to disagree with that.

not sure how to post pics but I have a collection of guitars amps and other stuff. I have a rosewood tele from 1969/70 like George Harrison (found in NYC) and an 68 ES 345 as well as a five strats and four resonators...I have played for more than 30 years and I have not sold a guitar in 25 years so the collection is large.

it was originally released in QUAD and then mashed down to stereo when I saw it in 81 before the stones played in chicago that year..midnight shows on a double bill with Let There be Rock AC/DC.... the songs that are too fast are ALL OF EM since the whole show is sped up. Sometime I will try to move the audio rip I have down to proper pitch but that is a slow and dull process.

I saw him a while back and he was better frail and sounded like it....he sounded stronger on Letterman but no where near his peak....the other issue for long time fans is the rather dull set list...Beckola has been over working the live material as well. He is a big reason I play guitar (along with Muddy n Keith!!!!)
