Quotecrholmstrom QuoteTopi He rarely plays BITUSA in North America. It's featured more often in Europe & elsewhere. Even Thunder Road or a song like The River aren't regulars, despite being some of his most popular songs. And yes, there will be changes. I think he's done "Thunder Road" every time I've seen him. I've seen quite a few shows going back

It would be great to see the boys release a new album and follow it with an Arena tour to play 5-6 tracks from said release mixed with different classics than the war horses.

it’s a drag that they’re gonna have an orchestra with them again. i was really hoping that they wouldn’t. it’s not good when roger’s allowed to call the shots and pete’s guitar isn’t the star of the show. I was excited about this annoucement until I saw it's another symphony tour. I'll pass. The last great Who show I saw was at Desert Trip and I will hold onto that memory. the Sympho

This would be great to see! Martha Reeves put out an “invitation across the nation” in 1964 with “Dancing in the Street,” and now she has her own invitation, to sit onstage with the Rolling Stones at their Nov. 15 Ford Field concert. And maybe sing? Reeves says she’s scheduled to go through their careful COVID-19 procedures (she is triple-vaccinated, as well), and that the Stones have p

QuoteBoognish I realize this is a discussion board and every detail of every thing the Stones have ever done has been analyzed and scrutinized and studied, and that is great, but good lord, I really hope you guys aren't like this during an actual concert! Especially now with Charlie gone. If you're at an upcoming concert, ENJOY IT! I hope during the concert you're not saying to you

Quotejumpingjackflash5 QuoteWoz From what I can glean through the various videos the band sounds @#$%& great in 2021. Yes, great vocals, solid guitars, moving tribute to Charlie, nice to see them after 2 years. But drums are different and change the sound significantly. Jordan doesn’t swing like Charlie, he is a more metronomic approach, buts it’s powerful in its own right. It’s differe

The Grateful Dead played over 2,314 concerts, despite being a band for nearly twice as long I am certain the Stones played nowhere near that number of concerts....as far as "tickets sold" goes, the Stones have many years of Stadium shows so I can see an edge there. <edit> and a little internet research shows an estimate of 22million tickets sold by the Grateful Dead <edit>

Quotegavin95 I can't relate to any of this because I'm a young person and I don't hang out with anyone who cares about hip hop We're Stones freaks, deadheads, and huge rock n roll fans of many other bands in between. I sensationalize the whole hippie dream that came before me and find myself living it out in the present Right on, keep it going!

Quote24FPS Why do they have to go on? For what reason? Haven't you heard the Greatest Hits delivered enough times? No group lasted as long. No group will, at least for a long, long time. Steve Jordan is an okay drummer. Too much trash can cymbals for me. He was good enough for Keith's solo albums, but he's not Charlie Watts. No one is. It was enough for them to lose the magic w

QuoteThe Sicilian At the very least the Stones should cancel the tour and weigh their options for next year. There is absolutely no reason to start a tour in a few weeks and celebrate Charlie's passing in this way. Too bad if you have a ticket, get a refund and allow everyone to grieve and reflect. The greatest tribute is to soldier on, life is for those of us still living.

Quoterobv Cancel the tour and retire. Not a chance in hell that happens. I bet they play next year to celebrate 60 years too.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but the Las Vegas show is now requiring masks worn for the entire concert, regardless of vaccination status. There's a new message shown when you look at tickets on Ticketmaster. This is the only show of the tour that is requiring masks for all. It's a requirement throughout Las Vegas. IE it applies to the casinos too
