QuoteMax'sKansasCity QuoteDoxa QuoteMax'sKansasCity QuoteDoxa Max, with respect, I think you should respect a bit more other people's opinions. Or at least try to listen them (you clearly not seeing the point in recent Taylor reneissance - it has nothing to do with Ronnie.) You are turning to be the most negative poster in this site with your personal "anti-Taylorite" cam

QuoteDandelionPowderman <The old and many times stupid Taylor-Wood controversies do not have any role here> It shouldn't have any place anywhere, imo. It's our favourite band, and we should love and thank all the musicians who have made it what it is throught the years Amen to that

QuoteMax'sKansasCity And only in opinion of someone (the typical self proclaimed Tyaylorite) who agrees with the bashing of Ronnie Wood would call me the most negative person on this site. Someone who agrees that it is ok to non stop bash Ronnie Wood, and the albums he played on, does not view that bashing as negative, because they agree with it and think it is oK... where I see it as negati

QuoteMax'sKansasCity Quoteflacnvinyl QuoteMax'sKansasCity Quoteflacnvinyl Quotecopsnrobbers From Stones Planet Brazil Taylor looks great! In what way? No big overcoat. Smiling. He looks comfortable. He looks out of place, like a fish out of water. Looks like he is asking Keith "Uh whats the next note again? Dude, where am I? It is kind of an out of of focus pi

Quoteliddas I'm happy MT was asked to play Satisfaction and not Expectation. Satisfaction is now developed in a sort of guitar jam, and allows more space to MT's improvisation. The solo on Expectation needs to be CONCISE, otherwise the song is dead. Sort of like flooding a pasta with too much sauce. I am sure that MT can be concise, but what's the use of burning his second slot

QuoteDoxa But even though Taylor has "history" with "Satisfaction" I need to admit that if I could choose what song for him to play, that would be among the last ones to pick up in their recent set lists. But then again, having Taylor in any song is better than not having him at all. Dying to hear what he adds to "Satisfaction". - Doxa Really really really reall

Quotecrawdaddy It's looking good with all the comments regarding Mick Taylor. He's obviously realy up for it,so it's up to you Mick and Keith, how you use him. They must know by now what the majority of fans would love to see. Let's hope 3 songs for the next gig in Vegas. Bring it on. Nice antidote to the posts a couple of days ago suggesting there we

Quotepeoplewitheyes I saw the Stones at Wembley Stadium on the VL tour in 1995(ish), and speed (amphetemines) and weed were the order of the day, plus a few beers. Now we´re all a little older... So, do you still get loaded for the Stones show, or is it Viagra and Hot Chocolate? Funnily enough my first shows were also Wembley for the VL tour. And I got way too out of it for one of them, b

Quotebv Mick Taylor was out in the rear of the stage already halfway into JJF. I could see him with his guitar dancing and smiling behind Charlie almost all through JJF. Then as JJF ended, he did actually lay down on his back, with the guitar strapped, just behind Charlie. Typically Mick Taylor. I have seen him do the same on stage, even while playing. Then he is getting up, sitting right next to

QuoteRollingFreak Sorry, its childish, but that picture of Taylor on his knees made me tear up. He's just so happy, and he friggen deserves it. He'll never play the whole set, but I genuinely think by this tour's end he'll have a 2 to 3 song mini-set and then join them for the rest of the show. Its a combination of him looking so much healthier, him getting to play with his old

Quotesonomastone I was not impressed by him on midnight rambler in Oakland. He was sloppy and confused IMO - the sloppiest and most confused on the stage, which is saying something. I saw you mentioned potential sobriety concerns in the Oakland thread. If that is correct, and MT is responsible for his marginal involvement thus far it will be tragic. But - he looks better than he has for years,

A year ago I couldn't have envisaged complaining about MT playing Midnight Rambler on stage with the Stones...but after Keith's insinuations and then the reports from rehearsals an expectation was set (in my mind at least) that MT would be playing significantly more than one song. So to read the reports it's very disappointing. Surely they wouldn't miss an opportunity to play

QuoteVT22 QuoteHis Majesty Quotekleermaker QuoteDandelionPowderman I'm pretty sure Ronnie has the longest guitar solo on any Stones album. On You Can't Always Get What You Want from LYL he's playing for quite a few minutes One of the many reasons why LYL is such a disaster. Ouch! Imo one of the few decent solos he ever made with the Stones. Have to agree - I always love

Quotevermontoffender If Taylor is involved in more than two songs, I'll be sitting this one out. His megalomaniacal noodling bugs the crap out of me. His playing in Rambler 2012 was a friggin joke. The best time that song was performed last year was when MT stayed home. I've never, ever, ever, understood the MT worship. The guy was a nifty little cog in a machine that was well oiled

Quoteifyacantrockme I can name one instance they did suck, but, not under the Zep name. The 'Walking Into Clarksdale' was a terrible album all the way around, except maybe a track or two. Had Zeppelin survived the 80's and the 90's there would have been a lot more suckage. It's only because they released 8 studio albums for about 10 years. Look at the Stones for the f
