I have seen quite a few half empty gigs at the San Diego Sports Arena, and usually the crowd is still louder than the sellouts up the road in L.A. Maybe someone can tell the guys it would be a great show regardless of turnout and they would at least make some money.

They sold out the same venue almost immedietly in 2002 with very few ticket drops. Not sure if they could pull it off again though. I like this arena a lot and was hoping for another show here. But I am going to see GWAR on the 20th and that remains thee show of the day unless I can find a way out to Pomona on the 18th.

"but a lot of those $450 tickets go for far more on ebay..." Actually in my experience they go for far less. Just because a ticket has a starting bid of a $1500 and a buy it now of $2000 doesn't mean it's actually selling for that. In a true and fair auction system, the seats would go for a lot less, it takes a few tricks to get them to actually sell for $450.

It will be in Palmdale but last I heard he was trying to get some sent down from Montana. Of course, Thanksgiving with the family might come at the expense of the Dodger Stadium show because the Metrolink doesn't run on Saturdays! I got a little Satisfaction last night though at the Devo concert last night. 2nd row behind the pit for $25!!!

Not sure why they haven't toured Europe. More expenses and smaller paychecks? Not sure how ticket sales were in 1997 and 1999. Apparently they are planning on playing some festivals there next year but we will see what happens. I hope they do, they play here so often that I don't even bother going most of the time.
