QuoteDandelionPowderman As a kid I heard the 1981 Beast Of Burden live version, followed by Sweet Little Sixteen on radio. It took a few years before I understood that the latter was from 1978. Yeah, I remember in the 70's they had the KING BISCUIT FLOWER HOUR on FM radio, usually at 10:00 pm -- there were several versions Miss You -- that were very good, I remember Mick yelling at Keith

I remember going to Circuit City to purchase a receiver and CD player to really blast in my new house --- SLAVE like someone else said here was really great -- hearing the fingers on the strings--the great dynamics of the Virgin re-issue of Tattoo You

I suggest doing more recordings as we saw in the Stripped TV special. Play songs and record them. People have said the Stones are the world's greatest cover band (among other complimentary things). Record 100 cover songs and see what sticks. We can never get enough of the Rolling Stones! They are truly special. Now that would be great, especially when they play them how I like my scramb

QuoteDandelionPowderman Good question. We don't even have it over here anymore, so it's been a long time since I've listened to FM radio.

Spotify has a live Stones channel, and a deep tracks channel. Which would be VERY awesome to the casual Stones fan. I listen to those channels when on long drives, and find them very entertaining, they really mix up the choices. Unlike some of the fans that post here, who have heard every released and unreleased versions of studio and live performances, those Stones fan might find them redundan

I’ll miss them so, I’m very thankful for all the shows I’ve attended— the great music—the different arrangements— the comradery witnessed— what a delivery of music on all 5 senses— It was always “Look man — it’s THE ROLLING STONES!” Thankful for this page and all the work that Bjornulf does out of passion. Hopefully we will see them again in some form.

EL MOCAMBO! Holy Cow — we have wanted this since Love You Live was released — I wasn’t even 20 when that album was released — remember ? We called side 3 of the vinyl THE EL MOCAMBO side ! Personally I couldn’t be more thrilled —The Stones giving us what you asked for— Can’t wait to blast it through my house and let the music reignite all those memories of what my brain tells me was a simpl

I think one of the tops of longest shows is 2hrs 42 minutes. The opening of the Voodoo Lounge tour at RFK in Washington DC -- 27 songs, and they played many first time performed songs then 1994-- that are more common place now-- Ill never forget the 15' tall stilt men walking out during Monkey Man-- the first time that song ever played live. "Not Fade Away" "Tumbling Di

Aww man, I apologize --- I shoulda figured someone from all over the world would have seen this and posted it. It is cute -- and the title could be construed as new live version from the Rolling Stones --- but I never said that in the title. It wouldn't bug me any if the title post gets deleted ---those kids are talented--did you hear that bass player? I really enjoyed that one. Quot

July 3rd 2019 --- Washington DC --- FedEx field Man it was HOT, the band played great I thought. They played Mercy Mercy, for the first time since the 60's The return of the B Stage really made the stadium feel more intimate, no big hydraulics, they just walked out there -- with 2120 South Michigan Ave playing over the loud speakers -- Angie, and a great version of Let It Bleed play

We had Jumping Jack Flash at our recessional --- strings, 4 piece, I had to disguise it a little, the priest was cool with it. The strings moved up to the reception, and played Wild Horses when the wedding party entered --- we got married in a coastal area where the horses run wild for centuries. Our first dance started with Rip This Joint, and then segued into Sinatra's Fly Me To The

QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteDeanGoodman Quoteonestep Well personally I really enjoyed watching the streaming performances. +1. Haven't bought a Stones video since 25x5, don't know anything about Olé. Loved seeing these shows I attended, and going over my notes from the time. Even took a bathroom (+ kitchen and laundry) break during Miss You. Same. Didn't attend and had only wa

Well personally I really enjoyed watching the streaming performances. Jeez, watching that entire extra set was just like being there, up close. Couldn't get any better. OOC was awesome -- the quick cuts, how the song is framed, Charlie looking at Mick picking up his harmonica, Keith giving the ok to Charlie to start the song after one last long drag, the communication on stage of the pi

Aerosmith MGM in Maryland, the first show of their up close and personal. Also, the first show that Joey Kramer didn't play. The drum tech played, and did fantastic job. Tyler down in the crowd, and very up close. I loved it. It was August 2019 ---- Before that one, was The Rolling Stones Fed Ex field July 3 2019---they were great, that's the show where they played Mercy Mercy.

I am sure we will hear from The Rolling Stones again, but it certainly wouldn't be wise for them to try and tour with this pandemic going round --- I know you all know that --- I am just agreeing. It would really suck to have one of them catch pneumonia and die because of this virus ---however unlikely -- they fit the criteria for the red zone for sure. Maybe they will release the new
